navy ship scrapyard
1955
we see a destroyer with workers preparing to start on the day the ship has been fated to be scrapped even after all of its exploits in the hands of the Polish, we also see a faint outline of a fe...
several weeks later we see Piorun creeping around the iron blood base heading toward an ammunition dump she stops and peers around a corner
*that's 1 2 3 5 guards I need to avoid*
we see her bring her hand up and discharged electricity a little before looking back at the ammunition dump she sees a gap in the guard and runs for it making her way inside once inside she starts to unload her supplies as she did she quietly spoke
"ok fuse, small explosives, and timer"
we see her place the small explosives around the dump and fusing them together to the timer she sets the timer to go off in 15 minutes
"time to go"
she gets up and exits the dump quickly hiding as she did she sees an odd building it looked to be for research and development she makes her way toward it and enters by forcing the door to unlock
"let's see what iron bloods new toys are"
as she enters she sees what appears to be a wind tunnel with an airframe inside as she looks at it she recognized it
"their working on 262s"
she decides to leave it be for now and exits the building suddenly an earth rattling explosion happens and the base goes into full alert
"right that"
she starts to run quickly exiting the base via the docks and making her way out of them over the next few hours she calmly makes her way around looking for things to blow up, soon she sees a red glowing ship on the horizon
*sirens*
she starts to make her way to it but suddenly it starts to pick up speed and go way too fast for the size of the ship, she saw as it got closer that it had yellow accent lighting the front turret looked odd as well like it wasn't a cannon but a crossbow without the bow part suddenly she hears an electric hum fill the air as the cannon on the siren ship lights up and fires
"shit"
she quickly moves out of the way as it slings a shell at her it clipped her throwing her backward and out of the water leaving her disorientated as she slowly got back up she sees the cannon charge back up and aim at her again firing a shot piercing her side causing blood to pour out at a rate that would be fatal
she staggers her way to the ship taking advantage of the ship's long reload but she was slightly too slow it fired again piercing her other side she keeps moving making it to the ship's hull she planted her depth charges to the side and runs They detonate ripping the bow off the ship
as she gets caught by the explosion she was lifted off her feet and thrown she hits the water hard and starts passing out from it along with blood loss as her vision slowly fades she sees a woman in a nun outfit approach her line of sight before she was out completely

we see the woman in the nun outfit approach her and form a red ball of energy in her hands slowly pushing it into Piorun we see the wounds start to heal the blood slowly stops as the wound closes
???: i hope to see you again in less dire circumstances
we see the woman leave letting Piorun float in the water unconscious for several hours past as she is out slowly she wakes up seeing it is daytime
"oh that fuckin hurt"
she slowly looks down to see the damage to see none
"huh that's not possible"
she taps her side feeling no pain from it other than tenderness

she stops as she realized she was out in the open with no true plan
"I should head home"
we see her get up and head home still deep in thought she accidentally strayed into heavily patrolled waters suddenly a cannon is fired at her looking up she sees the shell heading towards her she swiftly moved to avoid it she sees who fired it it was a Scharnhorst class battleship
"shit"
she starts to run from the ship slowly pulling away from it soon leaving sight and entering a forest near the shore and quickly hiding
*biscuit is never going to shut up if she finds out about this*
we see her slowly make her way home
after several miles, she finally enters her home to see it empty
"the others must be out"
she takes a seat and begins to think about what happened with her wounds how they seemed to magically heal and what shot her
*was that siren ship using that move I used with the coin?*
she keeps thinking about it mulling over the details
*Did they copy the move when they captured me?*
she starts to think about the wound and the nun she thought she saw
*did the nun heal me she seemed familiar kinda like Vestal but she is still back in the Pacific base last I knew and I'm still an enemy of theirs*
as she thought about it she remembered something
*what if she was a meta variant of her?*
it clicked in her mind as it look similar but different the clothes were different more battle-worn they had a more flexible look compared to the vestal she knew
*that must be it and they said Metas have powers so she might have healed the wound*
she thought some more but couldn't come up with a good explanation for why she was healed
*I hope the sirens don't try to work with my power set more but chances are they will*
we see her get up and look at the clock
*let's see 5:30 I guess I should make some dinner*
