Soon engough the day was over and Kion was just about to head home when Kovu walked up
"uhh hey wierd question...uhm. Can we stay in touch?" He asked
Kion was shocked at this "w- why" he ponderd
"I dont know y- youre my first real friend at this school. at any school in fact" he said looking down at his paws
"how come?" kion said walking next to him
"C- can you keep a secret?" he whispered
Kion nodded
"Im......gay" Kovu said quietly
Kions eyes widened and his heart began racing agian
"I came out last year at my old school and every single guy made fun of me... so i changed schools." Kovu explained sadly

"i did" Kovu said "but of course they were homophobic they sent me to the new school before leaving...forever"
Kion felt sympathy for kovu "Youre parents left too huh?" Kion softly said
"yours did too? why? Kovu sofly gasped
"Dont know but My older brother Simba has been looking after me" Kion said
"speaking of witch i gotta get home. But first" Kion quickly scribbled down his number on a peice of paper
"here" Kion said handing him the sheet "text me when you get home ok?"
"okay. unless you text me first" Kovu said acedenly fliirting
"O-okay" Kion smiled while blushing
