"tilly." ethan literally cried, his hands brushed passed her face as he pulled the girl into his embrace. tears were falling from everyone's eyes as they stood in the airport. none of them really thought it would come to this day.

tilly was leaving for new jersey and no one had done the things they said they were going to do during there years at the school.

"we talked about getting high out of our minds and admitting things to each other..." mark sighed with a pout on his face, "quick! does anyone have a joint?" he asked the group, tears staining his face.

the group let out a laugh and pulled tilly into a hug, "if anything happens matilda, you know your always so welcome at my house." merit sighed into her best friends shoulder.

"thank you merit." tilly nodded, hardly able to form a sentence from the amount of tears coming from her eyes.

it was over. it felt like her world was collapsing at her fingers, all the work and effort she put into those years, were now gone. she knew the friendships she had gained with these amazing people would last forever but it just felt like everything was coming to an end.

"we all love you so much matilda." luke muttered as they pulled away from her.

"i love you guys, thank you for the best 2 years of my whole life." she sighed trying to gather herself together but she just couldn't.

her plane number echoed through the speakers in the airport, "go!" rutger urged the girl.

she nodded and waved one last time to her friends who stood there in a line, hugging each other.

merit had her face buried into lukes chest, mark and ethan were a hot mess holding each other, rutger and a few other boys stood there with sweet smiles on there faces.

they waved back and that was it.

as tilly began to board her plane she couldn't help but think... she just wanted one more day. she wasn't asking for a month, or a week. just a day.

her home for two years was now gone, she was moving onto the next chapter in her life. she didn't know how she felt about it all. she felt mainly overwhelmed by it all.

as the group walked out of the airport, ethans tears stopped and a smile spread across his face. he was so happy for his bestfriend, he remembered when him and tilly would lay in there bed when they were 8 during there sleepover talking about what they wanted in there future. tilly's dream had now become a reality, he was beyond proud of the girl.
