"If that devil wanted you specifically and held everyone hostage for it, they had to have something to gain," you stated.
Denji: "I don't get why so many Devils are trying to kill ME specifically. I mean, the ones that I haven't outright pissed off yet."
"Maybe there's something about "Pochita" that Devils know about."
Makima walked up to your table.
Makima: "Are we telling stories right now? I would like to hear them."
"Sort of," you said bluntly.
Denji: "Yeah. We were just talking about our experiences in life. You know, how our careers started, and how many people loved to repeatedly punch us in the face."
"He's pretty much correct about all of that."
Makima: "Sounds interesting. Can I sit with you two?"
Denji: "Sure."
Makima pulled out a chair and sat down next to you.
