Chapter 9: This Isn't You

You fired a bullet at Makima and blasted part of her head off.

Makima: "You were a good pet, but I guess some things come to an end. Meet me at the cemetery. It's one last place I want to show you."

"Gladly," you said as you fired again and ran to the cemetery.

A few hours later, as you were waiting for Makima, you saw Denji arriving and sitting on top of a headstone.

"Nice to see you, Denji. I'm sorry about Power."

Denji looked at you and said nothing.

"Let's give a good fight for Power. She would have wanted to be part of this."

Denji nodded, and, after a while, Makima arrived with her minion.

Makima: "You look quite pathetic. Did you come here to die?"

Denji: "Makima, in the super awesome world you'd make, would there be any crappy movies?"

"She took you to the movies too, huh?" you thought. "She really is good with pets."

Makima: "Why is Denji back?"

There was a brief stint of silence.

Makima: "I think the world would be better without uninteresting movies."

"Then I guess we have to kill you after all."

Makima: "A shame, but I guess there's no going back now."
