Sal's POV

I wake up slowly, 7:00AM my clock reads damn I hardly got any sleep. I sit up and grab my glass eye, struggling to put it in my eye socket slightly.

After that shit show I grab a cigarette and a lighter, I walk over to my windowsill and sit in it, dangling my legs and kicking them. That boy, he's on the roof again. I wave, while flicking my cigarette against the rough brick wall.

He waves back actually, I smile to myself and finish off my cigarette. I hop out of the windowsill and grab a black skirt, a red and black striped sweater with various holes in it, I grab my black converse as well. I buckle my prosthetic with a groan, I fuckin hate that thing...

I tie them up and put my hair into high messy pigtails. I grab my phone and walk out of my room, Gizmo trotting along behind me. I walk into the living room and my dad is passed out on the couch. Great.

I feed Gizmo and head out the door. I walk into the elevator and click the lobby floor. I look around the large room for a moment and then walk across the street, today I'm gonna meet this guy! I knock on the door and seconds later a blonde haired boy answers, leaning against the doorframe.

He's wearing nothing but a pair of shorts, he has a t shirt in his left hand, so he was changing. "Oh..I uh- hi! My name's.. sal." I stutter out.

Holy.shit.hes.fucking.hot.

He chuckles lightly at my introduction. "My name's Travis." He shakes my hand and invites me inside. He pulls his shirt on and shuts the door, he leads me up a flight of stairs and walks me into his room.

He shuts the door softly and sits against it, I sit against a wall in a corner a bit close to him. He grabs an energy drink from his bedside table and takes a swig from it. He hands it over to me, I unbluckle the bottom strap of my prosthetic and lift it up. I take a sip and pass it back over to him.

"So, Sal when'd you move here?" Travis asks moving slightly closer to me. "I..uh just got here...yesterday. What about you-?" I ask, buckling my prosthetic back up. "I've been here since I was 5. Oh! By the way I'm 15 what about you?" He asks crossing his legs.

"I'm 15 as well!"  I smile, my eyes crinkle when I smile and I guess he noticed because he smiles back. I blush and Travis continues making small talk with me. "Uh, i'd better get going. Here's my number though!" I put my number in his phone and he puts his in mine.

"Cya, sal." He stands up waving goodbye as I walk out of his room. I wave back and walk down the stairs, I reach the door and open in, walking out. I walk across the street and enter the apartments heading down to Larry's place.

I knock on the door and Lisa answers, "hi sal!" She smiles and invites me in leading me to Larry's room. "Hi, Lisa." I respond with a smile and enter Larry's room. "Larry!" I shout    enthusiastically from the door.

"Sal!" He smiles and yells back, I walk in shutting the door behind me.
