•Four years later•
I watch as Millie jumps into her aunts arms as soon as the brunette comes into the four year olds view.
"Auntie Lou Lou!" The toddler yells with a giggle as the older woman picks the toddler up in her arms to swing her around in the air. Both chuckle before Louisa sets her niece down to walk over to me. I smile and set down the bags I was carrying to gather my younger sister in a hug.
"Bonjour," Louisa whispers against my shoulder. I let my sisters familiar vanilla and honey aroma invade my nose and make my tense shoulders relax.
"Bonjour baby sis" i smile and pinch her cheek, Louisa quickly slaps my hand away through before turning to again pick up the toddler that was hanging onto aunties shirt.
"You got the bags?" Louisa asks and I nod, me and Millie didn't have much to bring over- only two large suitcases worth. The rest is still in our old apartment in Paris.
"If you put Millie in her seat, I'll put the bags in the back" i say and Louisa nods.
"What happened to the gt40?" I ask and puts the two large suitcases into the seemingly new ford mustang.
"Thought the mustang would have more room" Louisa shrugs her shoulder as she buckles Millie into her car seat.
"Didn't think of an SUV or anything?" I comment with a teasing smile as I slide into the passenger side seat.
"Over my dead body would I be seen in a SUV or some mom car" Louisa says and turns to look at Millie who has a wide smile on her baby face, "hey M, wanna hear something cool?"
The toddler immediately nods her tiny head yes, the perfectly slick pigtails going everywhere, while my face drops.
"Don't you dare rev this ca-" I'm cut off by the sound of the loud engine revving as Louisa puts her foot on the pedal. Louisa laughs loudly, Millie giggles and laughs, and I groan and let my head fall back against the headrest.
"It's gonna be her birthday all over again" i grumble and remember the three formula one drivers i had over for her birthday, the four drivers thought it'd be fun to get my daughter obsessed with the sound of a reving engine. I got quite a few noise complaints from them doing it with their super cars.
"Oh just live a little" Louisa chuckles and pulls out of the airport garage.

I can't help but look back for the third time in ten minutes, i smile softly each time i looks over to see my daughter sleeping soundly in her pink car seat.
"Jesus just take a picture of the kid, you're stressing me out when you keep looking back" Louisa groans and tosses my phone into my lap. I roll my eyes but turn around and take a picture anyway.
