When Charles asked me to get dinner with him after he finished with Ferrari, I was in the headspace that it'd be a casual dinner maybe even made up of room service and we'd just watch a movie and enjoy the night alone.

How could I have been so wrong?

I spent most the time when Charles left getting Millie situated, I took her to see the pool because she kept begging to see it, stopped by Louisa hotel room- Redbull was in the same hotel as Ferrari thankfully- and then let Millie watch some cartoons on the giant flat screen tv- that took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to turn on- while I answer some emails.

Being the owner of my own restaurant now that it was up and running successfully had its perks. Since it's become so successful I've been able to spend more time with Millie, being the present mother she deserves was harder in the first few months of growing my restaurant.

As I'm sending a reply email to the group of different shift managers, my phone sitting next to me buzzes against the plush white bedsheets I'm sitting on.

A smile unconsciously makes it way to my face when I see it's a text from Charles. A text that reads: I'll be home in about an hour and a half so we can get dinner, dress nice ❤️

I'm confused on why I should dress nice, are we really gonna go to a big restaurant? I expected something smaller since we just flew in today and he's been working for almost four hours.

Still I text back that I'll be ready before actually starting to get ready.

Despite it being night, the weather around the Azerbaijan Grand Prix was warm and humid. I quite enjoyed the warm weather and smiled happily when I stepped onto the balcony, the warm air was accompanied with a breeze that moved my soft yellow sundress around my ankles.

I had dropped an already tired Millie off at her aunt Louisa's hotel room almost thirty minutes ago because Louisa had finally gotten back. Yes I missed my baby already, but the soft silence made my shoulders sink with contentment and peace.

The blonde curls that fall over my shoulders lift with the welcoming breeze, tickling my neck as it does so.

I'm left with the warm silence for long when I feel two arms slip around my waist. The familiar feeling of Charles' arms around me makes me smile even more as I lean into his embrace.

"When'd you get back?" I question when I turn around and see Charles has already changed out of his Ferrari shirt and jeans and changed into a blue linen shirt with tan shorts.

"Like twenty minutes ago" he says, surprising me that he's been inside getting ready while I've been sitting out here all this time.
