Aleris's POV:
I got out of the waiting room and walked to the garden, the garden where the heroine and the villainess used to hang out everyday.
I walked through the Aida duchy's halls and it is MASSIVE
"Jesus Christ, how much did it cost to build these halls? Let alone this whole duchy?!" I thought as I continue to walk
"I wonder what the heroine and the villainess brothers and grand Duke Aida will talk about in there"
Ethan's POV:
Earlier I saw Lilian's carriage come through our gate while Luke and Xavier were bickering, I thought she would get there faster since the topic of what we're gonna talk about is urgent
But she was a little late, as I assumed she bumped into Aleris on the way here.
Now there's only me, Father, Luke, and Lilian in the room.
"I called you all here because of Aleris's incident earlier." Father said
"Yes I have read from your letter grande Duke that Aleris passed out earlier due to shock" Lilian said
Father nodded in response "Yes that's right Lilian, our meeting today is all about Aleris's....decrease in health"
"decrease in health?" Lilian asked "He means that Lilian's health is getting worse and worse" Luke explained "She's getting weaker and weaker every second, and we fear that she might...not have long" i explained more
Lilian's expression turned dark as she heard that "Has the doctor told you what the cure is?" She asked
"No..the doctor hasn't said anything about it-"
"Then why did you come to that conclusion?" Lilian said angrily before I could even finish what I was saying
Even if I'm a son and future heir of the grand duke, me and Lilian are no equals. But she protects my sister so I let her slide from time to time when ever she gets angry at me
"We've seen how Aleris is in the first days after she tried to commit suicide, the doctor said that she would be getting weaker and weaker when she wakes up" Father said, and glared at Lilian
While Father and Lilian were glaring holes into each other, Luke didn't say anything. He just stood there...
