Hamilton POV :

"- and this is the conclusion of our tour," Eliza sighed in relief.  "Sooo . . . did you like it?"

"Liked it?  Oh I loved it!" I exclaimed happily.  "This is the most pristinely cleaned school I've ever been in!"

"Oh!  Glad you've enjoyed our little tour," Eliza said, smiling at me happily.  The more I look at her, the more I enjoy her presence . . . what is this feeling -

"Look at the time!  It's time for our first period!  C'mon!" Eliza grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards our destination.

---

"Well you two are late," a man said, turning away from his chalkboard to face Eliza and I.  "And you are?" he asked, looking at me right in the eyes.

"Oh erm . . . I -"

"His name's Alexander," Eliza finished for me.

"Yeah - Alexander Hamilton," I nodded.

"Alright Alex . . . you can sit over there," he said, pointing towards an empty desk near a guy.  The guy had his hair tied up in a bun and he looked like he could beat me up easily, better take note of that.  I walked towards the desk and sat silently down.

Eliza began to walk towards another empty desk and sat down.

"Alright kiddos, students, what ever you prefer," he began, making a few students chuckle at his casual greeting.  "Alright, quit your giggling.  We're going to start a new lesson -"

I began to zone out in boredom and started thinking about stuff :

'Huh, this school ain't so bad.  The students here are pretty nice, maybe I should become friends with themAngelica for sure and  -'

A small piece of paper was slid onto my desk by the guy next to me, making me snap badk into reality.  I picked it up and unfolded it.

"Hey, my name's Lafayette.  Wanna be friends?  I don't want any trouble right now in this college, just wanna make friends.  :)"  the note read.  I flipped it over to the blank side and reached for my pen.  I began to write, "Sure!"

I then slid it back to Lafayette and looked back towards the professor who was looking at . . . us.  Oh shit -

"Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Lafayette, what on Earth are you two doing?" he asked.

"I erm - we were . . ."

"We were talking if we were able to partner up for some projects in the school year," Lafayette quickly said, cutting me off.

"At this  time during class?"

"Sorry sir for the inconvenience," I apologized.  Lafayette nodded in agreement.

"Alright, since this is Mr. Hamilton's first day here, I'll let this slide.  Mr. Lafayette on the other hand should know better . . . see me after class."

"Yes sir," Lafayette muttered, nodding slowly.  I saw him clenching his fists in anger and I started to become worried.

"Anyway, sorry students.  Let's resume our lesson . . ."
