Over the course of the next week or so, Tomura proceeded to destroy all but four of the candidates from Class 1A. These four students included: Tsuyu Asui, who managed to trap Tomura with her tongue; Fumikage Tokoyami, who encased Tomura in dark shadow, who is unaffected by Tomura's decay; Kyoka Jiro, who managed to avoid Tomura by using her earphone jacks and trapping him in rubble after sending it flying down with her speakers; and Shoto Todoroki, who trapped Tomura in a huge ice blast. Every other student failed, even Katsuki Bakugou, who was less than thrilled about his defeat. According to his classmates, you could still hear him fuming in his room well into the night. Only one person remained who had yet to fight this formidable foe: Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku.

Over the course of the week, Deku determined that All Might or someone he was close with must have been training Tomura over the course of his childhood. There was no way he could be as gifted as he was if that wasn't the case. Tomura excelled at stealth, as well as defensive techniques. His offensive skills were lacking, but you don't have to be super skilled in that department as long as one touch can kill your opponent.

Deku also couldn't help but notice that, whenever possible, All Might would show up to watch the training live. He also noticed, whenever All Might was present, Tomura seemed to put just a little bit more into the fight. Obviously, Tomura cared about what All Might thought. Although, unfortunately, All Might would be unable to watch the fight between Tomura and him as the #1 hero had a meeting he had to attend.

Deku shook his head, trying to stop himself from drifting into his own thoughts. He had to stay focused. He had come up with a strategy, one that would limit how much he had to use his quirk considering he still couldn't control it without breaking his bones. All he could do now was put his plan into action.

Tomura couldn't help but be smugly satisfied that he managed to defeat so many of the hero course students. All that training his uncle made him do in his former years seemed to be paying off. Although most of the training was for defense only, as well as quirk control training, he had a couple offensive tricks up his sleeve that came in very handy during the fights. Now, all he had to do was defeat the last student: Izuku Midoriya.

Tomura, admittedly, was very interested in fighting this boy. Recently, his uncle had been talking about the kid a lot. Like, almost all the time actually. It was becoming incredibly annoying. Tomura suspected greatly that his uncle may have passed his power down to Deku, but he couldn't be certain until he fought him.

The battles took place in a variety of different training grounds. For his battle with Deku, Tomura would be fighting him at Ground Gamma, which consisted of industrial sites compiled by many factories that formed a labyrinth. This would serve him perfectly, there were so many places to hide. Tomura doubted this battle would last more than five minutes.

The battle started off just like it did for all the students. Tomura hid himself somewhere inside the site and it was Izuku's job to go and sniff him out. Tomura heard the loud roaring of the horn, meaning that his opponent had entered the stadium. Now the fun begins.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deku creeped along the streets of the desolate Ground Gabba. Admittedly, Deku was nervous about fighting Tomura in this landscape. From what he had gathered, Tomura was incredibly stealthy and there were a lot of places for him to hide in here. Sweat dripped down the green-haired boy's forehead as he made his way to a more open area. In the previous battles, many students were defeated simply by not seeing Tomura before he jumped out of some hiding place to grab them. If he could make it to a more wide open space, Izuku wouldn't have to worry as much about Tomura jumping out from some corner. Also, it might bait Tomura into a 1v1 fight, where Deku would have the upper hand. Although he wanted to avoid using his quirk, Izuku knew it was likely he would have to use it at least once to win.
