deer watching with gordie (requested)

(Imagine: while on the way to find the body, you and gordie share a moment in the early morning)

(A/N: This imagine was requested by n3ymars. I hope you like it! This is as if Y/N went with the boys and then was with Gordie during the deer scene. Now, on with the imagine!)

       The boys and I had all started to wake up after our night in the woods. I noticed Gordie was no where to be found so I got up and went to find him. After walking a short distance, I saw Gordie sitting by himself on the tracks. I walked over to him, taking loud steps to make myself known and sat down next to him.

       "Did you sleep well?" I asked.

       "Well enough. You?" Gordie asked back.

       "About the same." I said.

       A soft 'crack' came from next to us and both of our heads snapped up. A rustling in a nearby bush had Gordie and I holding our breath. Gordie positioned himself partially in front of me as something leaped out causing us both to jump slightly.

       A deer.

       The two of us looked at each other before we both let out a soft sigh of relief. We watched the deer move about for a minute before something caught its attention and it hopped away out of sight.

       We sat there in silence for a few minutes before I leaned over and put my head on Gordie's shoulder. I felt him tense next to me and was about to pull my head away when he leaned his own head onto mine.

       "Y/N?" Gordie asked.

       "Yes, Gordie?" I asked back.

       "I really like y-"

       "GORDIE! Y/N! WHERE ARE YOU?" 

       We jumped apart as we heard Chris call out to us. Standing up, Gordie held out his hand to me. I gladly took it and stood up too. As I went to pull my hand away, Gordie held on tighter. I looked up at him to see him smiling softly at me. I returned the smile and squeezed his hand back. We walked back to the others, hand in hand. Neither of us mentioned the deer.
