Gordie Lachance: When Gordie sees you being bullied, he immediately pulls you away from the situation. He doesn't engage with the bullies, he just gets you out of there. He'll dry your tears as best he can and cheer you up by making up a story for you on the spot.
Chris Chambers: When Chris sees you being bullied, he jumps into action. He gets between you and the bullies and lets his reputation as a 'no good Chambers kid' do the talking. When the bullies run away, he pulls you into a hug and takes you on a walk to clear your head.
Teddy Duchamp: When Teddy sees you being bullied, he flies off the handle. He'll get in the bullies faces and will take a swing at them if necessary. When the bullies flee, he'll do his best to make you laugh to cheer you up and he'll laugh along with you with his crazy laugh.
Vern Tessio: When Vern sees you being bullied, he'll make an excuse to get you away from them without causing further harm. He'll apologize for not being braver with the bullies and he'll share his candy with you to make you feel better.
