After Stolas got into the hospital Blitz decided to give us the day off. M&M went out on their own and unkown to them Blitz followed them... again. Grimm had to go out to do something and Loona still had the cone on her head so wasn't going anywhere anytime soon ,so i decided to go for a walk around the town. I was walking on a sidewalk and everywhere i turned saw news of Stolas in the hospital badly hurt

Alex: God damn it's everywhere. I wonder how Octavia is taking the news?

I stop a moment to think

Alex: Maybe i should go over to see if she's ok.

I started walking again and this time i had a destination and an hour on the streets and i was now in front of Stolas mansion. I walk at the entrance and see two heelhounds in front of it

Hellhound guard: Stop where you are. Whats you business here?

Alex: I'm here to see Octavia. I'm a friend of hers.

Hellhound guard: One moment

He pulled out his phone and turned his back on me

Hellhound guard: Your highness. There's a bunny demon here claiming to be your friend and wants to speak with you... Very well.

He put the phone away  and turned to me

Hellhound guard: You can come in.

The two moved to the side and i went in. I walked into the mansion and saw Octavia at the top of the stairs. She looked tired and her eyes where red

Octavia: Hey Alex.

Alex: Hey. 

Octavia: What brings you here?

Alex: I thought to come see how you're doing with Stolas being in the hospital.

She let out a sigh as i walked up the stairs

Octavia: Yeah. It has been hard sense i learned. How did this even happen?

Alex: From what i know an assassin from the Wrath ring called Striker was payed to kill him. He called us for help but we had another job to do so we send half the team, i wasn't there so i don't know what exactly happened but when they came back Stolas was put to a moving nurse bed and rushed into the hospital.

Octavias face went down and i could see a tear about to fall of her face

Alex: Need a hug?

I asked opening my hands ans she immediately put her hand around me crying a little. We stood there for a couple minutes before se let go

Octavia: Thanks.

Alex: no problem. So wanna do something together? Get your mind off things?

Octavia: i'd love that.

She answered with a happy smile as she took me to her room. We spend about an hour listening to music she liked, it wasn't my style of music but she was happy so i didn't mind. After that she showed me different books she had in her room about stars

Alex: You sure have a lot of books in here.

Octavia: If you think this is much wait till you see the library.

Alex: Library?

Octavia: Follow me.

We went out of her room and walked towards a giant pair of doors. She pushed them open and all i could see is bookshelves reaching the top of the room, filled with different kinds of books

Alex: That's a whole lot of books.

Octavia: Yep. This place is filled with books of different books of all kind. Let's go check them out.

We walked in and started looking around at the shelves. Octavia was picking a few books while i kept looking, i wasn't really into reading books or the diiffernt topics on them like plants, math and all other staff, but i saw a book in the conrer of my eye that got my attention. It was an oranger boom with the tittle "Fire powers 101"

Alex: Helloooo.

Octavia: Found something good?

Alex: I think so, check it out.

I grab it and show it to her

Octavia: Fire powers huh? Never thought we had one of these here.

Alex: Maybe i could use it, i never really paractice with my fire powers.

Octavia: Wanna try a few at the backyard?

Alex: Sure.

We went to the backyard and opened the first few pages

Octavia: So according to this, fire powers are fuelled by emotion most noticeably anger. The stronger the emotion the more powerful the flame. The user will also need a calm mind to make sure he doesn't burn himself by mistake.

Alex: Sounds simple enough.

Octavia: Let's start with something simple. Think of something that makes you angry, Something that makes you want to ripe someones eyes out.

Alex: Like my dad?

Octavia: That should do it, and keep you head steady or else you'll be turned to a cooked rabbit.

I take a deep breath and walk a few feet away from her so she doesn't get hurt and close my eyes. I start remembering all the shit my dad did to me, the hitting with the belt, him hoping i was adoptied and always calling me a failure. Slowly i could feel my body on fire so i open my eyes to see i was actualy on fire

Octavia: Don't freak out.

I turn to see Octavia with a worried face

Octavia: don't freak out or else it will actually burn.

I take another breath and close my eyes and close my eyes again. I keep my head calm from the burning feeling and open my arm. Slowly all the burning moved to my arm and open my eyes again to see me holding a fireball bigger than my head at my arm. Usually i make a small one out of instinct but this is new

Alex: Well shit.

Octavia: Yeah. I've never seen one this big before.

Alex: Awesome.... uuuum. I don't know how to get rid of it.

Octavia: Oh fuck. I'll bring a bucket of water.

After we destroyed the fireball with the buvket we spend two hours practicing my powers. After that she follows me at the exit with the book in my hands

Alex: You sure it's no problem me taking this?

Octavia: My dad won't mind. Besides it's not that important.

Alex: Good point. Well i better get going, here.

I gave her a piece of paper and she looked confused

Octavia: What's this?

Alex : My number. If you want to hang out again just  give me a call.

She had her cheeks red for some reason before anwsering 

Octavia: cool. I'll sure will.

Alex: Sweet. See you around.

I said to her before walking off. I look at the book in my hands with determination

Alex: i have a lot of work to do.
