There he was my dad's best friend he was 8 younger than my dad so that means he was 36 and ever since I even knew what love was I had loved him and only ever had eyes for him, even when I was in highschool and boys would try to ask me out or ask for my number. I always knew that none of them would be it for me because he already took that spot and I even kept my virginity in hopes that he could be the one to take it. And I'm always scared that one day he's going to bring a girl over when he comes because I remember that jealousy I always felt when ever he would come over and bring Cassidy. or we would go somewhere and she would be with him so when I heard that they broke up I was overjoyed always felt she was not right for him. Then again, I don't think anyone but me is right for him but she acted like I'm to good to be here she would not Even bother to say hi to anyone she would just come and she was always giving dirty looks. and always had a attitude like when I asked her to please pass me the potatoes at dinner she just gave me a dirty look and said get up and get yourself or are you to fat to she has also said some other rude comments like that to me so I just got up a told her shes a b****. and said the jace could do better then her because he can and went to my room and 5 minutes later jace knocked on my room door and come and apologized to me for what she said he asked me if it was. the first time I debated wether or not to tell him but he always knew me and could tell when I was hesitant about something. so he reassured me that I could him so I told him about all the times when Cassidy would degrade me or make those backhanded comments and we talked for a while about my plans for school after highschool and what I want to do after so I told him my dreams of opening a bakery I always felt safe with him like I could tell anything without judgement or shame but our conversation was put to a stop when my tummy grumbled. so we went back down stairs with a little persuasion from him but before we left my room he told me that I would never have to talk to Cassidy again to my surprise when we went back down stairs I didn't see her It wasn't until the next morning when I asked my parents that they told me that he took broke up with Cassidy right after he hear my room door close it also happens that she got up, slapped him, and walked out. If I was there I would have dragged her out the door by her hair. Anyways today is my 22 birthday day and my parents throw me a big party. I don't feel the need for it it's not even a milestone I'm just one year older but right now I'm watching jace from across and god he looks handsome he has on black jeans with a plain white tee shirt.He looks amazing in white it make his chocolate skin look like he's glowing
His smile makes my heart skip a beat. and his teeth so white it looks it's shining but as I'm still admiring him he turns around and we're looking straight at each other his black hair in 4 corn crows going back and sitting on his shoulders.i imagine his hair when it's unbraided so I can plunge my fingers into it and feel it's softness between my fingers and feel the curly texture it has of it in its natural form.
