My alarm didn't ring this morning so now I'm rushing I go to the dryer to get my work shirt only to find out i never put them in there so i grab on and put it in the dryer hoping it'll be dry in the next 10 minutes then then run back upstairs to wash my face and brush my teeth dressed in my jeans and under I head back downstairs to see if my shirt is dry and just like I thought it's only semi dry.
But I have to go if I want to get there on time to open the shop so I grab a banana
My bag, shoes out the closet, car keys and head out and of course today is the day the traffic is the worst.
I get there just in time to open the shop the rest if the morning went by fine but were running a late on a client who coming to pick there car in hour so i skip lunch to get it done on time but only having had a banana for breakfast im starving.
So my day isn't going the best that is until I see Jessa walk in in her sexy little plaid skirt and white sweater that's hanging off one shoulder showing a lacy white bra strap she's carrying a bag in her hand I walk up to the front counter where she talking to Kayla our desk person the closer I get the more i can smell her sweet scent "hey baby what are you doing here? she turns around and smiles up at me.
"I wanted to bring lunch as a thank for yesterday" she says holding the bag up higher thank you but you didn't have to do that I'm lieing I'm so glad she came she just made my day better by walking in here let alone bringing me lunch I grab her hand and lead her to my office we walk in and I close the door and lock it so that someone doesn't barge in.
She sit at the seat in front of my desk so I take the one behind it and open the bag I have 15 minutes until the client gets here to pick up there car.i open the bag to find a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs waiting for me and underneath that is a bowl of heart shaped sugar cookies.
I feel a grin stretching across my lips looking at the cookies,I only have a few minutes until the client comes here to pick up there car so I have to hurry I open the bowl of spaghetti and grab the fork I twirl the fork until I get a decent sized bite I stab a meatball and bring the fork to my mouth and eat the spaghetti on the fork the burst of flavors I'm my mouth makes me almost want to groan.
I finish chewing before I say "this is amazing
baby one of the best I've ever had I start scooping more onto my fork while she looks at me smiling "thank you I'm glad you like it I twiked my recipe just to make you like it it was the least I could do after all you did for me last night" don't worry about it.
"I'm almost done with it you can come pick it up tomorrow"ok we stay quiet so the only sounds you can hear in the room are the sounds of me eating I look down at her hand and notice that she got her nails done her late set was plain red and this one she has some medium length french tips she told me a while back that she was trying to stop biting her nails so she was going to try to get them done to see if that would help and from what I can see it has.
she probably just recently got them done because she keeps looking at as if trying to decide if she likes them or not i move my eyes from her hands to her face she still looking down at her hands she's biting her plump lips watching her biting them is making me want to pull her lips from the grasped of her teeth despite being the one to say that we shouldn't give Into our urges.
then she looks up and and catches me look at her I clear my throat and look back down at my food "ooo yeah how much do I owe you for fix my car I look up and meet her eyes umm nothing because it free no...she says quit for a few seconds as if trying to take in what I just said.
"I'm paying you so how much is it " I just told you it's free I'm not letting you pay for it it's a simple job but I also changed you oil but i also needed to change your oil you needed you filter changed to but we didn't have the right one for you car and it won't be here till tomorrow so i won't be done till tomorrow.
"Jace I have no idea what you did on my car except for the filter change and the oil change but I sounds expensive and I can't just let you do all that and not pay you back .
"Well I'm not taking your money and and your car wouldn't start because you needed a new battery and that's also coming tomorrow but so far that's it "well let me make you lunch and dinner for the next week I wanted to tell her no because I didn't want her to feel like she owe me but that spaghetti was delicious and my cooking skill are only good enough to not have to order takeout everyday.
So I pretended to think about it even though I know I'm not gonna deny her
"Since you're offering I say with a grin I would never deny a deal like that good food and i get to see you everyday why would i not take it up.
I see her smile at my acceptance like I would say no to a deal like that I look down and see it's almost time for me to go meet up with the client but so I start packing up my food I'll eat the cookies later,standing up I put my hand out for her to grab let's go I have to meet a client in a few minutes she put her soft hand in mine and starts walking but before she opens the door I pull her back and give her a hug thanks for the food baby and she wraps her arms around my waist and your welcome so softly I almost didn't hear it weet go of each other.
As I'm opening the door I ask her "how did you get here "I borrowed my mom's car
We walk out my office and she goes towards the front door of my shop I stand there the whole time and watch until she's out of my view and I go stand behind the desk up front and ask Kayla "your breaks in like 5 minutes right "yeah just go right now she looks at her laptop and then starts to pack her stuff up and whens she's done looks up at me "thanks jace I just sit in the seat she just got from and wait till the client gets here she walk out the front door a minute later
The client gets here a few minutes later the they told me I hand them their car keys and they pay me and we're done I sit there till Kayla gets back from break and help anyone who walks in.
Sorry if there's any spelling errors in this chapter cuz I haven't uploaded in a while and was trying to get this chapter out soon but if you find any just write it in the comments and I'll fix it I also decided to start writing my chapters like this since it was probably a little hard to read the other way 🖤
