Pt 1

Y/n pov

I was running, running to get to my part time job as a csi. There was a crime scene at the local bank, luckily no one died but they needed someone to identify somethings.
As I was running, I got a flash back of younger me running from some bullies, that same night my mother was murdered and my father got blamed for the crime. But Joe who is a cop took me in.
Finally I was there, at the crime scene with joe, the captain, and other police officers.
"L/n, nice of you-to show." One of the officers said, Joe glared at them, "did you get the thing I told you to get?" Joe asked, he was covering for me again! "Uh..y-yeah I did!" I said, and I pulled out a note pad from my bag and gave it to him, the captain nodded and so did Joe.
He showed me tire prints and "can you identify these?" Joe asked me, I nodded. I knelt down near them and looked 27 inches long, 28 inches wide, the pattern resemble a tire that was used for only one car because of the weight.
"The culprits are driving in a mustang, and there is something else." I pulled out a pen and scooped some of the brown goop and put it in a bag. "I'll have to analyze this back I'm at my lab." I stated, "alright get it down quickly l/n." Captain said and he walked away to deal with other problems.
"You know I can't always cover for you." Joe stated, I nodded "I know, but school is getting in the way. You know how it is." I said; "you're right I do but, your IQ is high, you could easily test out." Joe said, "yeah but then i wouldn't learn more." He sighed, "alright, but if you are late one more time, you are testing out if you like it or not." I nodded.

I was finally at my lab and I was typing getting to figure out what this substance was.
"Y/n!" Miko said, she was skipping as she made her way over to me. "What are you doing?" "I'm running an analyst on a substance I found." I replied, "huh, boring!" She said, I rolled my eyes, "boring to you, plus later you and I are gonna go see Harrison wells' particular reactor." I said, she sighed "why are you SOOOO interested in that?" She whined, I looked up and walked over to my white board, "think about it like this." I see a circle "this is what tue human race knows form over the years." I then Drew a bigger circle around the circle I just drew, "Does that include rock?" Miko asked, I rolled my eyes. "this is what we will learn when it goes online." Miko nodded,
The machine I used went off and I was able to figure out what it was. Joe walked in, "y/n." He said, and he gave me the look. "Yes, I got it.
It's cow shit. But it contains a mineral that only 3 farms around here use still." I explained, I pulled out a paper that I had just printed, it was a map marking the 3 farms that use it, "one of those locations will have a mustang hidden inside." Joe nodded. "Alright, well, good job well search this soon."

"Still don't get why you like this thing." Miko stated, as we walked to through the crowd. "It's interesting!" I yelled over the yelling protesters and fans.
After a while of waiting, it started raining, but Harrison wells assured everyone it would be fine. "Ah, hey!" Miko yelled, someone had stole her bag, I ran after the guy, "SORRY EVERYONE,  BUT THERES A DELAY!" Harrison wells said.
I caught up with the guy, and he pulled out a gun. "Woah." I blurted out. Putting my hands up immediately.
"Stay away man!" He yelled, "don't test me!" "Put the gun down!" Eddie said, Eddie is an officer who was stationed to watch the particular accealuater. Eddie put his gun up too.
"Okay okay." The guy put his gun down and Eddie grabbed the bag from his hands.
"Y/n." Eddie's said, while putting cuffs on the guy. "What are you doing here? You have a sample you need to test back at the lab." "I do?" I asked, Eddie gave me a look. I nodded and ran to the car with Eddie and the guy.
I'll text Miko later and give her, her bag. I thought

I put in the tv in my lab and I began examining fingerprints and dna.
"The storm is getting stronger and faster." The woman on the tv said, "but Harrison wells assures us it won't affect the effects at all." I put my hands on a chain that opened up a window on the roof. An explosion could be heard and the tv shut down, and I looked outside and saw a huge explosion. Then I was hit by something that smashed my windows and I flew into all my beakers and substances.
And I pasted out.
