today is my first day of the new school i'm starting after moving. i didn't know anyone so i was extremely nervous, as i was walking down the hall with my headphones on i bump into nick sturniolo and my headphones fall off. i was in absolute shock that somehow i met nick. he picks up my headphones and i apologise. "sorry about that, i'm ava" i say. "i'm nick" he replies, "is that billie eilish you're listening to?" i respond with "yes! i love her" "me too!" he replied. i explain to him that im new to the school and don't know anyone and he offers to spend the day with me. most of the day we bonded over similar interests, we instantly became good friends, nothing more.
