A Family Reunion

Today, the group were walking around a town that they had stumbled into while they were heading to their next town for ash's next badge and serena's next concert, serena who was holding togepi was looking around at the shops and she was very amazed by all the cute clothes, shoes, socks and bags in certian shops, bonnie was looking at all the pokemon that trainers had as they were walking around, clemont was making sure bonnie didn't run off and ash was looking around on how busy the town like it was a event or something, suddenly pikachu's ears twitch as he heard something and then the others react as the noise was getting louder, the noise was people cheering and shouting and the group saw that it was coming from a park in the middle of the town
"what's going on over there?" clemont asks with a confused head tilt
"let's go check it out" ash says both curious and excited and the group head over to the crowd
when they get to the crowd, ash, serena and the other see that there was a pokemon fight going on and it was ageist a reuniclus and a rhyperior, the reuniclus did a shadow ball attack and the rhyperior dodge the attack, rhypeior then did shadow claw and it did a lot of damage to the reuniclus, with the crowd and some cheers while some boo at the attack on reuniclus, the reuniclus then goes down and some of the crowd cheers
"and the winner is, rhyperior!" the man says in the middle being the referee for the fight
"yes! good work darling!" a lady says going up to the man that owns the rhypeior
then man had medium length chocolate brown hair, big light brown eyes, wearing sunglasses and he was wearing a dark purple slip on hoodie with a picture of the poison logo, baggy black trousers and black trainers meanwhile the girl had had long light blonde hair with a long fringe covering the left side of her eye, blue eyes, sunglasses on her head and she was wearing a very short pink dress with the skirt ending at the top of her thighs, black stocking that ended at the top of her leg and was wearing red heels. the pair also looked to be late teens between 16 to 18, people were now starting to leave and ash was getting excited to battle, serena sees this and grabs his arm
"i know you want to battle but you can do it later as we need to go and eat" serena say and ash's excitment calms down as he looks at serena
"you promise?" ash says making sure serena could let him battle
"i promise" serena says with a smile and ash smiles at her
"ok! *rumbling noise* oh! i didn't realise how hungry i was" ash says happily then embarrassed as he remembered the last time he was was at breakfast
"to to toge!" 'i am hungry!' togepi says in serena's arm also feeling hungry
"ok, let's go to the pokemon center and grab some food" serena says and the group nod to agree
as the group were talking, team rocket was watching the group whike diguised and sitting on the bench, james was looking at a map, jessie had a ice lolly and meowth was ontop of wobbuffet looking at the group
"it's annoyin' that da twerps can buy all the food they want while we have to wait for months for our money to come in for food, it would be so much easier if all the food was free" meowth complains with wobbuffet agreeing with him
"it doesn't help that we spend the money we get on robot that pikachu or any of the twerp's pokémon end up destroying" james says pulling the map down to look at meowth with a annoyed face
"yeah...maybe we should open a food shop where we sell food and then at the end of the day, we can eat the leftover food till we have enough money to afford our own food and even a place to stay" meowth explains and both him and woffuffet were were smiling at the idea
"hey, what are those 2 teen twerps doing?" jessie says curiously as she was still looking where the group were standing
james, meowth and wobbuffet look at jessie was looking and they were looking at the man with the rhyperior and the lady, the pair were looking at pikachu on ash's shoulder and they seem to have a plan in their head as they were doing a evil smirk, the pair then went over to ash and the man coughed making ash, serena, clemont and bonnie turn around
"yo! your pikachu looks cool" the man says and ash looked a bit worry
"umm, thanks?" ash replies sound a bit confused as he was taken aback but the man appearing and giving pikachu a compliment
"i also have a pikachu, you wanna go 1v1 with our pikachu?" the man says and this made ash get excited
"i have a pikachu as well!" serena adds as she holds up her pokeball with pip inside
"me too! shall we make this a 2v2 then?" the woman says holding up her pokeball
"okay! you wanna battle, buddy?" ash says happily then looks at pikachu on his left shoulder
"pika!" 'yes!' pikachu says looking determined with his paw into a fist
"okay, we're ready" ash says happily with a determined look to his face and his right hand into a fist
the 2 teens were happy with the 2 kids accepting their battle and they get ready to stand on each side of the battle field, the man and lady were on the left side while ash and serena were on the right side, clemont was the referee and he stand in the middle, serena let's pip out of her pokeball and when she comes out, she looks at pikachu and then sees she was going to go into a pokemon battle
"pika pi pikachu" 'what are we doing?' pip asks pikachu as she was a little confused
"pi pika pi pika pikachu pika pi pikachu pikachu, pikachu pi pika" 'we are going to have us 2 going up ageist 2 other pikachus, so it's a pikachu battle' pikachu explains and pip nods after pikachu explains looking determined
"pika, pika pi" 'okay, let's go' pip says and she gets ready to fight as she goes on all 4 paws
the man and lady then let out their pikachus and the man's male pikachu was slightly taller then pikachu, had really scruffy fur and was the same colour as pip, the lady's female pikachu was light in yellow and had rosy pink cheeks, her tail had a light purple around the bottom of the heart and a little tuff on her head (the male pikachu knows thunderbolt, brick break, thunder punch and dig while the female pikachu knows thunder, thunderbolt, nuzzle and play rough), the pikachu were ready to fight with pikachu and the man's pikachu looking ready to throw down paws when he looks over at pip, both the man's pikachu and the lady's pikachu look at pip and pip looks at the pair with shock in his face
"...pi?...pi?' "...mom?...dad?" pip says still in shock but tears were forming in her eyes
"pi?" 'pip?' both the pikachu known now as pip's parents say at the same time and they start looking relieved
pip starts running over making everyone confused and pip's parents also start running, they meet in the middle of the field and they have a big hug with pip hugging her mom and her dad hugging both her and her mom
"pikachu, what's going on?" ash asks pikachu who was slightly confused
"pi pika...pika pi pi pikachu" 'i think...those are pip's parents' pikachu says and ash looked shocked while serena and bonnie who was next to clemont look at him confused
"what did he say?" serena says looking confused
"he said...those pikachus are pip's parents" ash replies first stunned them smiles at serena
"what?! those are them?" serena says surprised and bonnie lights up
"they are so CUTE!" bonnie says happily with her eye light up with stars in them
'pip! i'm so glad you are okay!' pip's mom says as she pulls back to look at her
'i so happy that you two are okay! i thought i would never see you again!' pip replies with her voice upset and eyes full of tears
suddenly, both pip's mom and dad were returned to their poke balls and pip looked around for them almost panicking they were gone then looks over at the man and lady
"hey! why did you return them?!" ash complained as he looked angry
"pi, pika pi pika!" 'yeah, give them back!' pikachu says also angry after he went over to pip to comfort her
"excuse me! we are suppose to have a 2v2 pikachu battle, not a family reunion!" the man says and this make the group and pikachu angry while pip was still crying
"keith, i don't want to fight anymore, can we go shopping instead?" the lady says to the man now named keith
"sure, beth, this became boring" keith says to the lady now named beth and they started to walk away
"pi! pi!" 'mom! dad!' pip yells out upset as she reaches her paw out and she cries with load of tears coming out if her eyes
all the people and pokemon were looking at the 2 teens as they walked away and they all had anger in their faces, the pokémon then decided to stop the teens as they walk away from their trainers
"come back, walrein!" "typhlosion! where are you going?!" "what's the matter, skuntank?" "blissey, stop!" "delcatty, what's the matter, pumpkin?" "flygon, why are you leaving? it's brushing time!" "meowstic! come on! it's lunch time!" "leave them alone, altaria, i know you're upset but it's non of our business!" "volcarona, why aren't you listening to me?!" people says to their pokemon as the pokemon walked away and they were either confused or didn't want conflict
the pokemon didn't listen to their trainers and surrounded the 2 teens making them stop in their tracks, the pokemon glared at them and they weren't happy about it
"move you stupid pests!" beth says and tried to push the typhlosion out of the way
the typhlosion didn't move and stood there like a bodyguard, the walrein and altaria then used a ice beam on the teens and they freezes up their feet keeping them in place
"what are you all doing?!" kevin yells trying to wiggle his feet free but it didn't work "let us free now!" he demands but it was ignored
the (male) meowstic then uses phychic and picks up the 2 pokeball containing pip's parents, he then throw them towards pip and the 2 pikachu come out of their pokeballs
"pi!" 'pip!' both pip's parents say as they see pip upset
pip who was crying in her paws while pikachu was next to her looks up and smiles seeing her parents standing right in front of her
"pi! pi!" 'mom! dad!' pip says happily and she runs over to them
pip goes into her parent's hug and everyone thought it was cute to see, as they hugged, the teens were still trying to escape but the walrein and the altaria froze them up more to their necks
"come on! let's us out you filthy things, come on!" keith says looking angry and the pokemon didn't like his speaking
the meowstic does hypnosis on the teens and it puts them to sleep and then all the pokemon walk back to their trainers like nothing happened, pip and her parents hugged for a little longer till they pull apart and pip's mom puts her paws on pip's cheeks
'oh pip, you look so beautiful now' pip's mom says and pip smiles as she was still having tears roll down her face
'and you two look exactly the same...oh! i missed you two so much! it was hard being raised by aunt pooke and uncle pikka' pip says and explains and her parents smile at her as she hugs them again out of love
'what did they do?' pip's dad asks curiously and pip looks at him worried
'well, after they took me in after you two disappeared, they kept trying to make me 'perfect' by making me eat the fancy way, not let me play with my friends, pushing me to evolve so 'the boys will like me better', at one point, arrange me to marry a raichu i didn't like but i got out of that by saying i had the pokeflu, if i did something wrong, they wouldn't acknowledge me for a week and they show me off to their friends on how 'perfect' i am then be mean to me in the house, it was bascally awful' pip explains and both parents looked sad while feeling both heartbroken and angry
'now i get why your older cousin ran away from home after she evolved into a pikachu, where is your aunt and uncle now?' pip's mom says and pip looks down in sadness
'they uhh...they were...attacked and taken away by snake pokemon w-while we were going to a different pikachu hideout to meet the raichu i was going to marry' pip explains and both her parents looked shocked 'i managed to get away but i don't think auntie pooka and uncle pikka made it away' she adds and she still looked sad
'it's okay dear, you made it out and you're now safe away from any snake pokemon' pip's mom says calmly and started petting pip's head to comfort her
pip did calm down after a few minutes of comfort from her mom and when she lifts her head up from her mom's paws, she sees her dad looking over at pikachu, ash, serena and the other
'so, who's the pikachu over there? he doesn't look like he's from around here' pip's dad says and pip looks over at pikachu who does a shy wave
'oh! that's pikachu, he's from the kanto region and he's the one who helped me when get back to my feet when i fainted from stress after i got away from the snake pokemon' pip explains and this got pip's dad interested 'he then helped me recently with a problem with some snake pokemon chasing me and he saved my life, he was also the one who convince me to go with him and be captured by his trainer's girlfriend/mate, i've been happy with her and she introduced me to pokemon contests and i love them!' she explains and her parents looks between pip, pikachu and the trainers
'bring him over' pip's dad says and pip nods happily
pip called pikachu over and pikachu went next to pip looking shy but he was really scared
'umm, hi, i'm pikachu' pikachu says shyly and gives a little wave
'why hello little guy! i heard your from the kanto region?' pip s dad says as he goes over to pikachu and puts his right paw on pikachu's shoulders
'sure am!' pikachu says with a smile but he was still a little scared as he didn't want to disappoint pip's parents
'good! i think we should have a battle! kalos pikachu vs kanto pikachu! what do you say?!' pip's dad says wanting to battle pikachu to see how strong he is
'okay!' pikachu says as his determination took over his fear
'that's a good sport, let's go!' pip's dad says and the 2 male pikachus went onto the battle field
pikachu was on the right side where ash was standing and pip's dad was on the left side and they looked ready to fight
"ok, the pikachu vs pikachu fight will start...now!" clemont announces and he swipes his hand down to start the fight
the 2 pikachus start fighting as as they do, pip and her mom were sitting outside the field chilling, pip then thought of something and looked at her mom
'so what happened to you and dad for 5 years?' pip asks her mom and her mom sighs before looking at her
'it all started when we were bolting away from the noises we heard, i suddenly tripped over a pine cone and your dad came back for me, we then saw those 2 over there and they were 13 at the time, they caught us and then they took us back to their house to show their parents, after that they tried to see if they could breed us together to get a pichu for keith's younger sister but since we had you back at home and didn't want more babies, we didn't want to so they thought we were unbreedable and put us away in a pokemon storage pc for 4 years, it wasn't till recently that they decided to bring us out again and just used us to fight other pikachus to get stronger, i have no idea what their plan was but at least it's over for a bit' pip's mom explains and pip looked understanding as she listened to the whole story
suddenly a crunching noise was heard behind pip and her mother and they turn around to see that pip's parent's pokeball were crushed by a golurk as he walks passed with his trainer
'well, looks like me and your dad are free now from those people, those pokeball will never be fixed' pip's mom says and pip smiles a little
'but now, you need somewhere to go so i can visit you now and again and know you are safe!' pip says as she realises and she starts to think
meanwhile with pikachu and pip's dad and the pair ended up tying in the fight and both of them were exhausted
'wow kid, you're good!' pip's dad says and pikachu looks at him to give a little smirk 'how are you so good?!' he asks in amazement
'i have to be good for my trainer, ash, we go to every region to beat the gym leaders so we can go into the pokemon legue, this is our 6th time doing this and i've gotten good over the years' pikachu explains and pip's dad looked impressed
'i want to thank you, kid, for helping my daughter' pip's dad says as pikachu goes over to him and he gives him a side hug
'you're welcome, i do like helping other pokémon the best i can' pikachu replies and pip's dad gives a teethy smile
'i like that in a pikachu' pip's dad says happily and starts giving pikachu a nuggy
pikachu laughs as he tries to break free but pip's dad had a strong grip on his neck, both pip and her mom were watching and pip's mom looks over at pip who was looking at pikachu with a starry look in her eyes, pip's mom know what the look was and starts to give a cheeky smile
"you love that pikachu, don't you?' pip's mom asks and pip freaks out as she looks at her mom with a big blush on her face
'w-what?! it's that obvious!?' pip says freaking out and her mom puts a paw in her arm
'yes and i think it's cute' pip's mom says and pip puts her head in her paws in embarrassment 'don't worry, i think he's a okay mate for you' she adds and pip looks up at her
'you think?' pip says sound curious and surprised as she was still blushing
'yeah, you told us what he did for you and i think he has a crush on you too' pip's mom says and pip looks more suprised as she lifts up her head to look at her mom better
'how do you know?' pip asks and pip's mom swipes her hand with a 'pfft' noise
'moms knows everything and i can tell that he loves you from the look he does when he looks at you, your dad did the save when he fell in love with me' pip's mom explains with the memories flowing back on when she met pip's dad
pip smiles at her mom as she was looking at her dad and then pip looks over at pikachu who having a tag game with her dad, she smiles knowing that her parents accept her and pikachu's relationship and pikachu will now have parents as he lost them long ago, a while later and everyone was at the pokemon center have lunch with ash, serena, clemont and bonnie eating happily, serena helping togepi eat and pikachu, pip and her parents were eating kibble out of their bowls on the floor
'wow! these are some really good munchies' pip's dad says as he sticks another kibble in his mouth happily
'they are good but not as good as what a old companion of my trainer's use to mark, his pokefood was the best!' pikachu says happily after he swallows the food he has in his mouth 'i miss his food sometimes' he adds before sticking more food in his mouth
'now i want to try out the food' pip says sounding jealous and pikachu giggles a little
'i know you would love it!' pikachu says happily and takes another bite of his food
pip and pikachu keep talking about random things to laugh about and as they were talking, pip's latent watch them and smile as they watch them talk
'they are so cute together...i can't believe our daughter had a mate already' pip's mom says first happily then starting to get upset
'yeah...he's a nice guy too' pip's dad says calmly and pip's mom grabs his paw
'they remind me on how we first met and got together' pip's mom says after she sighs and she snuggles into pip's dad
'they do...this reminds me of the time when you showed me to your parents, your sister looked so jealous that you chose me as your mate' pip's dad says as he went down memory lane and pip's mom giggles as she looks up at him
'oh, yeah, i remember that , she tried to get me to dump you so she could go out with you instead, it was very intense in the house for a few days after that argument' pip's mom says as she was going down memory lane too but then she realised something 'i wonder why my sister and her mate decided to take in pip why we suddenly left and not my parents?' she asks and this made pip's dad think too
'...i don't know but i somewhat have a feeling that i know' pip's dad replies after thinking about it and pip's mom had a worried face
'i have a feeling i know too' pip's mom says and she looks over at pip who was still talking to pikachu
pip looks over at her parents and she smiles at them, they smile back and went to continue eating the remaining g food they had in the dish, after food, ash, serena, clemont, bonnie, pikachu and pip were wondering what to do with pip's parents as they didn't have a trainer anymore since the pokeballs they were in were crushed and pip didn't want her parents to go back to beth and keith
"so, what do you think we should do, pikachu?" ash asks his buddy who was standing next to pip and her parents on the floor in front of ash
"...pi pika! pi pika pika pikachu pika pi!" '...i know! we can give them to professor oak!' pikachu says to ash and he lights up hearing the idea
"that's a great idea, pikachu!" ash says and the others were looking at him confused
"what? what did he say!?" bonnie says really wanting to know what pikachu said
"he says we can give them to professor oak to look after! that way, pip knows they are safe and they can live out a happy life outside professor oak's large garden" ash explains excitability and serena smiles at the idea
"that's a great idea! let's go to the video phone!" serena says happily and the others agree with her
they head back inside of the pokémon center and go to a video phone that has a pokeball transferor next to it, ash called professor oak and when he answers, ask explains the story to him
"wow, that is a story,don't worry, serena, i will happily take care of your pikachu's parents for you and you can transfer your pikachu anytime to have a visit with them!" professor oak says happily and this makes serena smile in relief
"oh thank you, pip would love to visit them now and again, won't you pip?" serena says to her pikachu and pip gives her a thumbs up
pip's parents who are next to pip were smiling in relief knowing they are getting away from their neglectful trainers and going to now live in a safe and surcure place to live out their lives together and even their fighting retirement
"okay pip's parents, you ready to go?" ash says happily holding out 2 empty pokeballs for the pair
"pi pika!" 'one second!' pip's dad says holding up one little finger on his paw
pip's parents then hug pip and then pikachu in a family hug and pip starts happily crying as she was in their warm hug
'come visit us anytime pip, i know you will miss us but just know we are happy and safe' pip's dad says to pip and she nods as she wipes her eyes
'yeah and pikachu, you can talk to us anytime, we don't mind being your parents too' pip's mom says to pikachu after she hugs him
'thank you, i would like that' pikachu says happily and he hugs pip's parents again
pip's parents soon pull away and they give ash the 'we're ready' nod, ash then captured pip's parents and puts them in the transferor, they get teleported from the pokemon center to professor oak's lab and when they get there, he holds up the 2 pokeballs to the screen
"got them! i will make sure your bulbasaur will give them a good look around and help them settle in" professor oak says and ash smioe hearing about his bulbasaur
"i know he will, he's the best" ash says happily and professor oak releases pip's parents from their pokeballs
"ok, got to go, see you later, ash, everyone!" professor oak says and he hangs up
ash, serena, clemont and bonnie wave at professor oak before he hung up and then the group look over at pip and pikachu who were smiling satisfied that pip's parents are safe
"now that is over with, shall we go look around at the shops to see what shops they have?" bonnie says happily and the others agree with her
the group start to walk out of the pokemon center and pip was following then till she realises pikachu wasn't following next to her, she turns around to see pikachu still standing there and he had tears in his eyes
'pikachu! what's wrong?' pip asks as she goes over to pikachu with worry on her face
'oh sorry, it's just...i glad your parents accepted me' pikachu says trying to not sound upset but it wasn't working 'i never had real parents growing up as i you know i was adopted by a kangaskan but now...i have parents to look up to thanks to you' pikachu explains and this made pip smile
they have a hug and after the hug, they do a little cheek nuzzle before they catch up to ash and serena, meanwhile in professor oak's garden next to his lab, pip's parents were chilling happily in the woods by the lab and the pair were happily eating berries as they watch some pokemon minding their business and it was a calm happy setting.
