Sick Serena

It was a lovely day everyone except serena was having breakfast in the pokemon center, bonnie was eating happily as well as clemont, the pokemon were eating their pokémon food and ash was feeding togepi her moo-moo milk but he had a worried look on his face since serena hadn't come down yet
"hey ash" bonnie says making ash look at her "can i have a go at feeding togepi?" she asks as she really wanted to do it
"sure" ash says happily and bonnie gets excited
ash then shows bonnie how to hold togepi and she holds togepi in her small arm then ash hands her the baby bottle and she puts it in togepi's mouth who suckles at it happily
"i'm doing it" bonnie says happily
"clemont, can you keep an eye on her" ash says as he start to walk away "i'm just going to see why is serena late"
"ok ash" clemont says and ash walks off
ash then goes to his arms serena's temporary room and when he goes inside he sees serena asleep but she had a flush on, he checks her head and sees that she had a high temperature
'she's sick' ash thought 'i need to tell clemont'
"ugh...ash" serena says waking up as she feels something on her head
"hello honey" ash says and he smiles at her "you're sick"
"i...i know" serena says in a crocky voice then she coughs
"don't worry, i'll take care of you and i'll get clemont and bonnie to sort out your medicine" ash says and he kisses her forehead
"thanks...ash...love you" serena says with a smile
"love you too" ash says as he strokes her hair "now you go back to sleep"
"ok..." serena says and she falls asleep again
ash sighs then he kisses serena on the cheek before leaving her, he then went back to clemont and bonnie and when he got there he sees them looking at him
"where's serena?" bonnie asks as she puts togepi on the table as she's finished her drink
"she's sadly ill" ash says making clemont and bonnie's faces drop "so she's asleep at the moment and she's has both a very high temperature and very flushed" he adds
"poor serena" bonnie says sadly
"yeah...i was hoping if you 2 can get her medicine" ash asks
"sure we can!" clemont says happily
"yeah cause after all, she is our friend, if she's sick, we can go on a quest to find her medicine" bonnie says happily
"thanks you 2" ash says happily "you're the best"
clemont and bonnie smile at ash's compliment then they go off after they got ready to fetch serena some medicine leaving ash, pikachu, togepi and both ash and serena's pokemon at the center with a sick serena, ash, pikachu and togepi then go inside the bedroom to see serena while their pokemon waited for them outside the room, pikachu jumps off ash's shoulder onto the bed and then ash puts togepi down on the bed
"pr-pr? togepree to-to?" 'papa? what wrong mama?' togepi asks as she can see serena flushed and looking unwell
"mommy's ill but you, me, pikachu and the other pokemon are going to make her better" ash says quietly so he doesn't wake serena "hey pikachu, can you get a cold flannel?" he asked the yellow pokemon and pikachu nods before going in the bathroom
"toge toge to-to toge" 'how make mama better' togepi asks a bit worried
"well...clemont and bonnie have gone to get her something to make her better but...you can cuddle her" ash says calmly "that always make mommy feel better" he adds happily
togepi smiles then she goes over to her mommy, she then snuggles her and a smile appears on serena's face making ash smile, pikachu then returns with a cold flannel and ash takes him from him before putting it on serena's head, after ash did that he decides to leave serena with pikachu, togepi and pip who he lets in then he takes the other pokemon to the back of the pokemon center so they can chill in the sunny heat
while serena was asleep she has a fever dream and in the dream she was with ash and togepi being happy then all of a sudden it goes dark then ash and togepi disappears making serena worried, then a lady approaches serena that looked around her age and she looks at serena in the eyes
"your boyfriend and daughter belong to me now" the lady says then laughs evily
the laughing causes serena to wake up in shock with the laughter still ringing in her ears then she calms down as she realises it was a dream, as she looks around she sees pikachu and pip on the window bottom looking out the window and holding hand then she sighs again
"to-to?" 'mama?' togepi says getting serena's attention
"hello baby" serena whispers happy to se togepi and she lies down again
she then pulls togepi close and kisses her on the forehead with her thin lips making togepi giggle
"to-to togepree?" 'mama nightmare?' togepi asks quietly and serena sighs before nodding
"i had a nightmare but i'm glad you're here, baby" serena says and she cuddles togepi making the baby pokemon feel loved
serena then let's go of togepi and when she does that the door opens slowly to reveal ash who has a bottle of tablets in his hand
"i'm back honey" ash says happily and he goes over to serena "clemont and bonnie got your medicine and you must take one now and one before bedtime" he says and hands the bottle to serena as she sits up
ash then goes to the bathroom and comes back with a glass of water, serena then takes the medicine with water then lies down again
"is clemont and bonnie taking care of the pokémon?" serena says in a whisper since her voice was completely gone
"yeah, do you want me to stay with you?" ash says and asks
"yeah..." serena says with a nod and ash gets into bed next to her after taking his hoodie and shoes off
she then cuddles him and puts her head in ash's neck making him feel the heat from her head
"did you have a nightmare?" ash asks "cause you get really cuddly when you had a nightmare"
"yeah...it was scary" serena says keeping ash close to her and togepi goes in the middle of them
"what was it about?" ash asks as he turns to face her and rubs her hair to comfort her
"it was nice at first with you, me and togepi then all of a sudden it goes dark and you and togepi were missing, then a shadow lady comes up to me and says 'your boyfriend and daughter belong to me now' before laughing, then i woke up" serena explains then cuddles ash again after loosening him a bit so she could talk
"that sounds terrible but...i'm not going anywhere or neither is togepi" ash says hugging serena back
"i know...i just...don't want to be alone at the moment" serena says into ash
"ok...i'll be here" ash says happily and he makes himself more comfy
ash and serena then stay cuddling each other for a while enjoying each other's company till the tablet serena takes kick in make her fall asleep, ash smiles and he goes to sleep to as well as togepi in the middle of the pair, they sleep for a while and have a dreamless sleep till ash wakes up by pikachu shaking him
"what is it buddy?" ash asks his pokemon
"pikachu pika pika" 'it's coming up to dinner time' pikachu says and ash looks at the clock to see its 5:30 (they went to sleep around 2)
ash growns as he gets out of bed with togepi waking up too then he checks serena, he sees that her temperature went down a lot and she should be feeling better tomorrow, ash then sighs happily and then he goes off with pip, pikachu and togepi to join clemont and bonnie for dinner, when they get there they see bonnie and clemont in the diner with their pokemon
"nice to see you again ash, is serena ok?" clemont says and asks
"she should be fine by tomorrow" ash says happily and he puts togepi on the table with pip and pikachu joining him on the chair "thanks for fetching the medicine"
"you're welcome ash" bonnie says happily and ash gives them a smile
they then have their lunch and ash was helping togepi eat these special baby pokemon food while having his lunch and she loved them, after lunch everyone returned their pokemon into their pokeballs and ash did serena's since he had her pokeballs then their head off to bed, clemont and bonnie went to their room with dedenne and ash goes into his and serena's with pikachu and togepi, he then opens the door to see serena who was taking another tablet then she sees ash
"hi honey, how are you feeling?" ash says going over to serena and nuzzling her
"i'm a little ok now ashy" serena says happily with her voice kinda back "thank you for looking after me and i'll thank clemont and bonnie tomorrow for the tablets" she says happily
"good to hear you're ok" ash says lovenly and he kisses her forehead
he then goes off to change into his nightwear and when he gets back he sees serena ready to sleep and she was petting pikachu on the head, ash then gets into bed with her with togepi in the middle of them like before asleep and pikachu goes to sleep curled up by the pillow
"night honey, i hope you're feeling better tomorrow, i missed seeing you today" ash says kissing serena's cheek
"night ashy, i hope so too" serena replies then they fall asleep cuddling each other
they have a good night sleep and the next day serena was feeling alot better so they decide to carry on with their journey
