Chapter 2: We CAN'T Stay

Someone wakes me up and I open my eyes to see Senakon.

"Come on! We'll get in trouble if we're late to breakfast."

"And how do you know that?" I say as I get up

"I know that because I've been here for 2 years."

"2 years?!"

"Yeah. You're the only new person here."

"Who's the longest one that has been here?"

"She's dead."

"Oh... I'm sorry."

It's silent and I feel bad. I don't know how to comfort him. How do I comfort him?

We finally get to he cafeteria and I find the sisters.

We eat breakfast and we finish eating.

"Since it isn't play time yet, let's go to our room!" Konsan says

We agree and while we were walking to our room, the nurses were turning and just following us.

STOP

"Are you okay?"

I snap back to "reality" and look at Senakon.

I just nodded and smiled at him.

He looks away and turns to me again.

"Is there something wrong?"

"You're not fine and I can tell. What's wrong?"

"I just don't like a lot of people looking at me."

He suddenly holds my hand and I don't really do physical touch so now I'm here just walking silently.

"I don't know how to comfort someone about that but I hope holding your hand will calm you down a bit."

I'm amazed by him. He tries even if he doesn't know how. I want to be like him.

"Thank you!"

We finally get to our room and then the sisters lock it.

"We have to get out of here. We've been stuck here for so long now. Well, except you but that's beside the point."

I nod when Konsan said that.

"We have to make a plan." Says Merkan

"Let's try to find anything we can use in case we have to fight."

"Okay, but where do we escape? This place has a lot of bars and fences and gates!" I butt in

"Oh! We haven't thought about that yet.." Merkan looks down and begins to look sad.

*Oh shoot... Don't make someone sad. DON'T MAKE SOMEONE SAD. DON'T! DO SOMETHING!*

"What about the big hole with bars? The one with an eye?"

*Please be happy. I don't want to turn you down. Please...*

"That works!" Senakon says with a smile

"How do you know it works?" The sisters ask

"I've heard that there was a girl who escaped using that hole. But there's a specific time... I can't remember what time."

"We can figure that out later. Now we have to focus on what we have to bring."

We start to make a list.

Then we look at the door to find someone just standing there.

"Please, I want to escape too."

We want to help everyone that asks for it so we all agree to help her.

After that, it was play time.

It was the same as yesterday. Kids playing, nurses standing, motherlike person watches from above, and the hole whispering.

Silence...

"Nastal! I remember now! Come here!"

We go to this tunnel thingy near the slide.

"Let's talk here so the nurses won't hear us."

"Okay!"

"It's 4 A.M! The girl told me that it was supposed to be dark but also 2 hours before we wake up."

"Let's wait for lunch so we can tell this to them!"

We wait for hours and hours and hours and hours...

"Go eat your lunch now kids. Go."

We hurry and find the sisters and Faya the new member.

We tell them about what time we have to go and we wait for dinner.

After dinner, we start to go to our room and Faya goes into hers.

There are vents that connects all rooms so Faya can go into our room.

Senakon already knows the ventilation system for some reason...

One hour goes by...
Two hours...
Three...
Four..

"Nap Time"

We pretend to sleep and wait for the nurse to pass by.

Once she did, we knocked in the vent and Faya eventually got to our room.

We start to walk into the vents and it was very dusty. While walking in it, there was a nurse just standing so we had to stop so it couldn't hear us.

We get to the kitchen and open it up. We get a knife, some food and carefully went outside.

Senakon goes to the hole and whispers something.

The bars start to feel... Like it's not there?

I look down and find that the bars aren't there anymore!

I start to scream as we all fall.

*Am I going to die? I don't want to die.. not yet please! I don't want to. No. No! NO!*

Oh no....
