Chapter 4: Outside

As we get up, we see a big black tree with only one eye. The tree has no leaves.

We start to climb it and when we did, all we saw was the night sky.

Senakon looks at me then looks at the sky.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yes! And the star next to it too!"

He chuckles and just smiled.

The sisters were just talking and we start to eat the stuff we packed.

After that, we decided to try to find out what happened to Faya. If she survived or not.

"Faya??" I say on the walkie talkie

Nothing....

I try again.

And yet again, nothing...

I don't want to face it but.. I can't escape it. That she's...

"Dead." Merkan says looking down at the ground

"We can't stay here because if we wake up, they might find us because we're high up and they could see us. And it's not like we can sleep here." I say

"You're right. Let's go down and find a safer home."

"But it's dangerous!"

"We have weapons. It's okay!"

"That's just some knives!"

"Merkan, stop worrying. It's not like something big can kill us."

"And we have knives that are really sharp."

We start to get down and then we start walking.

The longer we were in the forest, the more my body felt tired and it feels like something is watching me.

Senakon suddenly grabs my hand and gets close to me.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah.. it's just that I hate the dark. Really hate it."

"Does it remind you of something?"

He takes a second to respond.

"Yeah.." he says quietly.

I don't let go of his hand. I also don't want to. I like it.

Suddenly, we hear a loud meow and footsteps.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Merkan shouts

"Shut up!" Konsan says

The footsteps start to get closer and closer and faster and faster!

We start to run but the thing was faster.

The thing behind us was a cat with so many hands on its body and an eye bleeding. The eye falls to the ground and kept on rolling.

Merkan screams in pain as she gets her lower half squished. Her lower half falls onto the ground at it was so... Bloody. She starts screaming even more and she gets swallowed by the cat.

"NO!" Konsan shouts

We take Konsan and just keep on running.

"MY SISTER DIED! LET ME KILL THAT MONSTER OF A CAT."
