Beyond the clouds the roar of two dragons could be heard, a sound that many feared and others admired. On these dragons were the princesses of the seven kingdoms, Cerys and Rhaenyra Targaryen, who had made the decision to go for a walk despite their mother's constant protests. Feeling the wind hit their faces was the best feeling in the world, or so Cerys said when she was questioned every time she escaped with Dhagara in the middle of the night. That was a constant problem, at first King Viserys had tried to stop her, but when Dhagara began to grow, surpassing many of the dragons in the well, she stopped trying, the last thing she wanted was for the dragon to destroy the well.

The princesses flew over King's Landing attracting the attention of the people who moved in the streets trying to continue with their normal days, but the image of two dragons was enough of a distraction for anyone, no matter how many times they had seen it. Cerys was the first to land in the dragon pit, Dhagara let out a disgruntled roar as Syrax descended beside her, both Rhaenyra and Cerys laughing at that.

"Looks like Dhagara isn't happy," Rhaenyra commented, climbing down from Syrax.

"She'll never be happy if she has to be locked up," Cerys descended from her dragon, which let out another disgruntled roar, "Come on, Dhagara, I'll be back for you."

The princess caressed the dragon trying to comfort her, but she knew it was almost useless. Dhagara did not like being locked up and the only dragon she tolerated was Syrax, which makes the task of those in charge of her care difficult, they had already lost many when trying to control her. With slow steps, she walked away from her dragon, passing in front of Syrax, who also looked somewhat disappointed at having to return to the confinement, Rhaenyra was waiting for her, standing a few steps away from the dragons, taking off her gloves, and a knight of the royal guard was waiting for them. at two near the exit of the well.

-Welcome, princesses, was your flight pleasant?

-More pleasant than being in a room listening to the old people talk, of course-, the eldest of the princesses went directly to the horse that was waiting for her-, see you in the fortress, Nyra.

As she passed the carriage waiting for her sister, she didn't stop to greet Alicent, she simply walked by, ignoring her presence, just as she had done with Otto Hightower himself all his life.

"Sure you don't want to go with us?" Rhaenyra asked as she saw her get on the horse.

"You know Dhagara is like me, we don't like confinement," she gave Alicent a look and then smiled at her sister, "and never with someone we don't like," she added in High Valyrian.
