AARA :

We, as in me, Sid, Deepak, Naina, my father, Sid's parents and Anoop are in a meeting in my office building.

Sid was to my right while Deepak sat on my left. Deepak was whispering to me to stay calm while I glared at Anoop who was few seats away from Siddharth.

Sid was fisting his palms so tightly, the veins in his hands bulged due to the pressure, clenching his jaws trying not to beat him to pulp.

I can't blame him. I also wanted to do the same.

We were explaining the situation to Anoop about the fast wedding and the merger that's to happen.

But he was being a dick head making everyone angry.

"I would have married her uncle. I told you I was interested in her." He said glaring at my dad.

"Sid control yourself. We don't want a scene here." I said holding his hand, trying to control him, who tried getting up.

I faced Anoop and glared at him. "My marriage is not a topic for discussion. I am married now. So let's talk something that's useful." I said through gritted teeth.

"We want to merge both the companies Anoop. Now shall we discuss about this or are you going to waste our time?" My father asked sighing.

"Fine. Let's talk about this merger. Who is going to be the boss? What about the shares? The head office? Employees? Have you guys thought of the complexity of the situation?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"A company lead by a female is always at liability. If you just could have made me the CEO and let me marry her, no one would have touched us." He said leaning back.

It was chaos for a few moments. Sid and Deepak were trying to attack Anoop along with my dad, while he sat back smirking.

"Stop it everyone. Calm down for god's sake." I shouted, pushing back Sid and Deepak while Vishwa uncle pulled my dad back.

"Anoop what the hell are you trying to do?" I asked irritated.

"What?! I still agree on what I said. I was not baiting anyone if that's what you are implying." He said with that annoying smirk still on his face.

"Enough! Not a movement from you guys" I said to my husband and brother who tried to get up again.

Sid closed his eyes taking deep breaths trying to control his anger.

"This meeting is over. We will let you know about what we have decided and then you will meet us in this room to sign the documents." Sid said standing up.

"And who are you to tell that? You are not the boss." Anoop said glaring.

"He has every right to decide anything, since he will be the boss of our combined companies." I said getting up from my chair.

"If you still have a problem with that, since we are in my company and the 'female' being the boss here, I am saying that this meeting is over. Now you can go waste someone else's time while we decide on what should be done further." I said with authority.

Sid walked out of the conference room with me following behind as we marched into my office both fuming with anger and irritation.

So much of time was wasted because of Anoop's stupidity. There's so much to do and the list Anoop mentioned was just a trailer. There's a whole film to be finalised and I am this close to freaking out.

We were pacing around the room running our hands through our hairs while Deepak and our parents with Naina entered my cabin.

"Damn these two were really the best friends since childhood man." Deepak said chuckling.
