"Where is mama bear?" Deepu asked glancing around the room.

I came home sometime back and in study room when Deepu came.

No one calls her by her name anymore. All of us, as in family, call Minnie with one or the other nick name.

It's funny how she responds to any name we call her. Mostly because she's used to the names given by me.

Aara barged into the study just the minute, can I say in a very relaxed mood, followed by Naina and Tanvi.

I rushed to her, eager to pull her into my arms and kissed her lips.

"I missed you." I mumbled kissing her forehead making Naina roll her eyes.

"Dude, it's been just a half day. You are behaving like you didn't see her for one month." Deepu said exasperated.

I scowled, glaring at him.

"Wait till Naina conceives. I will see how you will be." Minnie teased making Deepu cough hard.

We were in our bedroom, Minnie was telling me about her day eating some dry nut cookies.

Deepu left sometime ago. Naina and Tanvi stayed for dinner on Minnie's insistence. We were all listening to her, amused of her excitement.

I sat infront of her listening to her excited rambling with a smile.

It's hard not to smile. She seemed relaxed and happy. It means I am happy too!

She yawed softly, dusting her hands off the cookie crumbs.

"That crib was so cute Siddu. It was huge..!"

"Then I remembered we didn't buy any crib." She yawned again.

Okay.. mama bear is about to sleep.

Still listening to her, I stood up and adjusted the pillows so she could sleep.

"The crib I saw was so good and will be perfect for our babies Sid." She said stifling a yawn.

"Then we should buy that." I said passing her medicines.

She gulped the medicines down and rubbed her eyes with her fingers as if clearing sleep from her eyes.

"But I did not like the colour." She said again yawning softly.

"So I asked the shop keeper, if they would customise the crib for me and they said yes."

"That's great babe. I will follow up with that shop keeper." I told adjusting the air conditioner.

Sitting next to her I took her swollen feet and started massaging them.

She adjusted herself finding a comfortable postion she layed, holding her Minnie mouse.

Don't even ask!

"And there was this panda set I saw. The mother panda was so huge. It looked too cute." She said slowly.

Her rambling has slowed down. She can hardly control her sleep now.

"And I thought we could buy them when we go baby shopping." She mumbled sleeping.

She finally slept making me chuckle. My precious baby.

Putting her feet slowly on the bed, I got up and covered her with the duvet.

Dimming the lights I turned to see Naina and Tanvi looking at me with soft smiles on their faces.

"She is lucky to have you." Tanvi said slowly.

"No Tanvi. I am lucky to have her." I said running a hand on Minnie's forehead.

We came out of the room, slowly closing the door behind us, not to disturb her sleep.

"You know, even after the pain I had put her through, she still accepted me." I said smiling sadly.

I don't think I will ever overcome or forget that regret.

"What?!" She asked confused.

"When we were still dating, she had a miscarriage."

Tanvi gasped. "Is that during..?"

I nodded lightly.

"She went into depression. Deepak said how horrible she was during that time."

"But me on the other side, ignored her completely and been enjoying with you."

A lone tear slide down my face.

Wiping my eye with my finger, I turned to them with a forced smile only to see tears streaming down Tanvi's face and Naina with misty eyes.

"That love and trust she has for me always makes me feel guilty for neglecting her in the past or me not realising my love for her and making her go through the loneliness I created." I sighed.

"It's ok Sid. She is happy now. That's only because of you." Naina said hugging me.

I came back to our room after they left.

Minnie was adjusting her legs in her sleep as if trying to find a comfortable position.

Keeping my laptop on the side table, I placed a pillow beneath her legs. That made her stop wiggling.

I sighed. I wish I could take away her discomfort.

Sitting on my side of the bed I took my laptop to work.

With in few minutes, as if sensing my presence, she moved closer to me snuggling into my leg.

Oh my precious!

I would have done damn good things in my last life, for having her in my life now.

Putting my laptop aside I switched off the light.

I pulled her gently to me, making sure that I did not disturb her, I hugged her and sighed in content.

I felt the movements in her bumb which was touching me, as soon as I hugged her.

"Aww my little munchkins. I did not forget you guys." I said placing a hand on her bump and kissed her belly.

"Seems like your mama enjoyed her outing today." I said softly.

I felt a tiny kick as if they were responding to me, making me stunned.

The kick was so small that I could have ignored it if I was not paying attention.

I smiled widely, floating with happiness.

"Ho you guys too enjoyed it ha? Then I am too happy that, my babies too enjoyed along with their mama." I said kissing her bump again.

Now I felt movements a little fast, making Minnie move a little, a small frown on her face.

Oops!

"Ok easy there munchkins. You guys are waking up your mother."

"She is tired. So please be good boys and also my princess be good and let your momma sleep. Ok? Good night my sweethearts." I said with a long lingering kiss.

With a smile on my face I drifted into a peaceful sleep.
