Minnie is her in 37th week now.
After her out break on that day, we kinda tried not to nag her too much.
But it was one hell of a task with her hormones all over the place.
She yells if we are around her. And she yells if we are not.
She is too tired to handle anything and that frustration is making her to be like that.
During her last scan, the babies looked fine and too comfortable to come out of their mother.
I chuckled remembering that day.
"Babies look too comfortable in there." Doc said looking at the scree.
"They seem like lounging and chilling. See." She said pointing at the screen.
They looked exactly like how she said. They seemed like taking rest after an all day kicking marathon inside their mom's belly.
"Since you don't have any pain, we wil wait two more weeks if possible."
"It wil be healthy for the babies if they stay inside the womb for atleast 37 weeks."
"Judging by the looks of the scan, if they are two more weeks inside and if everything goes smoothly, they won't be needing NICU." She explained.
I should say that's one of the best news that we heard since her pregnancy.
"Precious are you alright?" I asked frowning, rushing to her.
She just came out of the room, her face scrunched.
We shifted to the bedroom downstairs two months back since it became difficult for her to climb the stairs frequently.
"I feel like we are in some hotel room, waiting to vacate." Is what she says about sleeping in the room downstairs.
"I think so. I want to watch tv." She said walking to the couch in the living room.
Once she got settled I switched on the tv.
"I will get you something to eat."
"Is the AC on? I feel suffocated." She asked fanning herself.
"Yes love. Wait I'll adjust the temp."
We were watching some TV show, which she didn't seem interested at all and I don't know why it's still running.
"Siddu!" She gasped holding her bump.
"What's wrong?" I asked worried.
She yelled again holding my hand squeezing it.
"I think babies are coming." She said taking deep breaths trying to control her pain.
I think I just had a mini hear attack. We have been waiting for this till now, and now it's happening, I didn't know how to react.
At that moment I understood that no matter what you have read in those pregnancy books or the doctor's councelling or our mental preparation is not enough for us to be ready for this.
"We are going to the hospital love. Everything's going to be ok." I said clearing the sweat and tears off her face while we were driven to the hospital by Vicky.
She was rushed into the OR as soon as we reached the hospital.
"Don't leave me." She whispered panicked when I tried removing my hand.
"I will be with you all the time precious. I just need to change so I could be allowed into the OR." I said kissing her forehead.
