Chapter 5 - Meeting and Farewells Part 2

After Artemis informed her huntresses that she has business she needs to do her children all nodded and wish their goddess a safe travel though rethusa said that she should accompany her Artemis just denied saying she needs to rest from the battle and that she doesn't need to worry since bell would be coming with her

Rethusa seeing that she wouldn't be able to persuade her Goddess to guard her just gave up and made bell promise to protect her goddess with his life of course bell nodded and said he would protect her with everything he has and he won't let anything hurt her

Weirdly enough artemis blushed hearing bell will protect her from harm deciding they need to go artemis called for bell to lead the way to his village

Waving Goodbye to the huntresses they both started goinng the direction of where the village is located

Throughout their Little walk both didn't even talk
for artemis she just doesn't know how to start a conversation with a male since this is the first time she hasn't castrated a male in less than 5 minutes
especially when she's feeling weird whenever bell is around

Why do I feel like this whenever I'm close with...Am I sick?? Artemis thought worried she got ill even though goddesses can't get sicknesses

however on bell's side he liked the silence.. no unnecessary talks.. or force ones even.. just utter peace.. and to him it looks like artemis also favors this kind of atmosphere

2 hours later they finally arrived in the village bell was born

Artemis looked around the village and saw that it wasn't that populated just a few houses, a well most likely for getting they're water and is that a blacksmith? huh... didn't think there'd be one in this secluded village though it does make sone sense since there's a chance monsters will attack his place and they some kind of weapon..

"Lady Artemis welcome to our village though it may not look like much compared to other villages it makes up with cooperativeness of the people residing here" Bell said

"Yes I can see that it looks like a perfect place to lay low or go to when you retire fully" Artemis Replied taking a look on the scenery that surrounds the village

Bell nodded and lead the way to where his family lives

Soon enough Artemis and Bell reached a fairly decent sized cottage and a farm besides it

In the cottage Artemis can see a Woman with White hair and dressed with a black gown with an emerald necklace near her collarbone laying on a chair most likely enjoying the nice weather and peaceful atmosphere

"Stepmother Alfia I'm back and I brought a guest" Bell said to the white haired woman

Stepmother? Artemis thought

The white white haired woman heared bell and opened her eyes revealing Heterochromatic eyes One gray and one green

Artemis seeing this was shocked beyond belief cause standing in front of her is easily one of the most beautiful mortals she has ever seen in her entire time in Genkai!

Her beauty can easily rival those Goddesses of beauty... even freya isn't as beautiful as this woman! Artemis Thought still at awe by the mortal's beauty

"Welcome back Bell did anything interesting happen during your patrol?" Alfia asked welcoming bell back home and asking if anything happened

Bell hearing this told Alfia everything that happened in the last few hours including his meeting with the artemis familia and goddess artemis, Alfia hearing this nodded and stared at the Goddess of the moon
