Monday, September 2nd (Anna)

"Mom! Where did all the clean towels go?!" I scream from the basement. I close the door to the dryer and run back up the stairs entering the kitchen.

"Check the basket on the floor in my room." I run to the living room. up the stairs, past my bedroom and into the master bedroom at the end of the hall. I quickly spot the basket on the floor and grab the black drying towel sitting on top of the pile. I jog down the hallway back to my room and enter my bathroom, towel in hand. I turn the shower knob and wait for the water to heat up before stripping down and jumping in.

Once I finish I glance at the bright red LED lights in my alarm clock and see that it's only six-thirty. Then I walk into my closet and slip on a matching pair of underwear. I walk back to bathroom, wiping up any droplets of water that fall on my chest from my wet hair. "Anna! Do you want bacon or sausage today?"

"Bacon!"I yell towards the door before turning on my blow dryer.

"Eggs and toast okay?"

"Yeah mom!" I yell over the sound of the roaring machine. Once I finish I turn it off and walk back to my closet. I slide on the green skirt that goes midway down my thigh. It's not a tight skirt nor is it too loose and flowing. I throw on the white Zelda t-shirt with Link holding his bow with an arrow notched and a large Master Sword on the back. I make it downstairs in time to see my mom scooping up scrambled eggs out of a skillet and placing them on a plates already filled with bacon and toast. I take a seat at the table and watch as my mom places a plate in front of me and hands me a fork. Before she can sit down I have a mouthful of eggs and a piece of bacon at the ready.

"Slow down Anna. It's not going to jump off of your plate." I swallow the eggs and take a bite out of the strip of bacon.

"Sure it is. Look." I reach across the table and grab a piece of bacon off of my mom's plate. "Did you just see how it jumped from your plate to mine?"

"I did and if it doesn't jump back you're gonna have start doing all the cooking." I watch as she fails at keeping a straight face and as the smile creeps onto her face. "Seriously though. Give me back my bacon."

"Fiiiine, here." I hand her the piece I removed from her plate.

"Thank you. You all packed and ready for school today."

"Mhm." I swallow the bit of food in my mouth. "My back pack is by the front door."

"Alright. We're leaving in fifteen."

"Okay." I pop the last bite of toast in my mouth then take my plate over to the sink. After rinsing it off I go back up the stairs and into my room. I grab the watch off of my nightstand and strap it on. Then I walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth. Once I'm done I head to my closet and put on my dark green flip flops. I grab my phone and head downstairs. "I'll wait in the car!"

"Alright! I'll be out in a minute." I grab the car keys off of the baker's rack in the kitchen and head out. Once I reach the red Chevy I get in the passenger side and stick the key in the ignition.

I unlock my phone, open up my messages, then send Kristoff and James a text message.

'Usual place guys?' It doesn't take long before James responds to group message.

'Sounds good girl.' I look up from my phone to the sound of the driver side door opening to see my mom enter.

"Ready to go?" I nod my head then reach behind my right side to buckle my seat belt.

After a thirty minute car ride we pull into the school parking lot surrounded by three large buildings. "Thanks mom. Josh and Ryan are probably coming over after school."
