Smart People Who Don't Need To Try

It makes me so mad when smart people get amazing grades without even trying. And it's not like its just one subject they're good in. It's everything. I have this friend who misses so many days of school and is totally disorganized but comes back to take a test and gets an A. But the thing is, she talks constantly about how she doesn't have to try and brags about her grades. It's totally unfair. Granted, I don't work as hard as I could for school, but still. For lots of tests and homework i work so hard on and i end up failing, probably because of nerves. I'd love to be a total nerd with this huge vocabulary, and reasoning for everything. I'd definitely rather be a genius than gorgeous. But I'm not either and I'll just have to live with it. Ugh.
