All Italian in this chapter is done by google translate, so feel free to correct it if it's wrong!

Did I just ask Nico out? Yes, I did! Did he say yes? Yes, he did! Am I totally doomed? Yes, I am! What was I thinking?! You can't just ask the most beautiful boy in school out without a plan! We were going to see the new live action Hercules at 1:00 and then finish at 3:00, but do we go somewhere after? Do we go home? I don't know! I've never been on a date before! Maybe he'll decide. Hopefully. What if he stands me up?! No, he wouldn't do that...would he?

"Will? You okay?" Mom asked, looking up from her guitar.

"Y-yeah. Fine." I lied. She gave me a look. "I asked Nico out. He said yes."

"Really? That's amazing, I'm happy for you!"

"But what if he stands me up?"

"He won't. And if he does, he's not worth it."

"Yeah...okay...thanks."

"Don't worry about it. If he said yes, he must like you." I nodded.

"Right. I should go get ready, I'm leaving in an hour and I have no idea what I'm going to wear." I hurried to my bedroom at this realization. I would like to say I found the perfect outfit in 5 minutes, but it was more like 20, with the help of my mom. We decided on a light blue button-up with a white denim jacket and jeans. I rushed to get ready after and had to settle with my wild curls filled with tangles. I wanted to impress Nico, so I drove my car to his house to pick him up like we said. His house was big, as I learned at his birthday party. I was surprised at first but then remembered his father was the god of wealth. I got out of the car and took out my phone to text him.

Sunshine: Hey, Im here!

Death Boy: *I'm.

Death Boy: And just a second.

Sunshine: Grammar police

Death Boy: Yeah, yeah.

About a minute later, he came out of the house. I'm pretty sure I forgot to breath in that moment. He looked stunningly beautiful. Like, god-like beautiful. Prettier than Aphrodite herself (don't tell her I said that). He was wearing a black and white flannel, a black shirt underneath, black jeans, and combat boots. He came up to the car, looked at me, and froze.

"oh dei..." He muttered under his breath. (Oh gods...)

"Huh?" I asked, not sure what he said.

"Niente! Muoviamoci." He said, louder this time. (Nothing! Let's get going.)

"Umm...English please?" I assumed it was Italian based on his accent, but I didn't speak Italian. He looked confused.

"Sto parlando inglese...Cosa intendi?" (I am speaking english...What do you mean?)

"I can't understand you, Death Boy. Is that Italian?" I asked. His eyes widened.

"Sorry! I do that sometimes and I can't tell the difference." His orange eyes turned teal. "Anyway, let's get going." Light brown made its way to his eyes. I smiled at him.

"It's fine! Maybe you could teach me some Italian so I can understand what you're saying." He nodded.

"Maybe. Now start the car, Sunshine, we're going to be late." We got into the vehicle and started driving towards the theater.

"Twenty questions?" I asked.

"Sure, you go first."

"What do you think is your best quality?" I asked him. He thought for a moment.

"...umm...I guess the best thing about me is my friends and sisters? They're pretty cool." I stared at him the best I could while driving.

"Are you kidding me? You're amazing, Nico. You're smart, funny, enthusiastic," I counted off my fingers. Beautiful, cute, adorable...

"W-what?" Did I just say that aloud?

"What?" I played dumb.

"You think I'm b-beautiful, c-cute, and ad-adorable?" He asked, incredulously. Great...I did say out loud...

"Well...yeah, you are. Anyone could see that." I said with fake-confidence. His eyes were gray, teal, orange, and light brown, with specks of pink. He didn't tell me what pink meant...

"A-anyway, my turn...if you could have one power from Apollo, what would it be?" He asked me.

"Healing, for sure. I want to be a doctor when I'm older, and it would help out a lot." I answered. We continued playing this game until we got to the movie theater. Our seats were right next to each other in the 4th row from the back. We pointed out advertisements that we had seen constantly and ones from movies that we would want to see in the future (we didn't say with each other, but I was hoping it would be). Suddenly, the lights dimmed down.

"It's starting." I stated, obviously. Nico rolled his eyes, good-naturedly.

"Dork." He muttered under his breath, jokingly. I poked his side, causing him to squirm and swat my hand away.

During the movie, we kept sneaking glances at each other when we thought the other wasn't looking, but I'm pretty sure we both caught every single one. We both whispered the lyrics to Gospel Truth under our breath and his voice is amazing and he's not even a son of Apollo. The movie stuck pretty close to the original, with a few minor differences in the dialogue to be a bit more true to real mythology and the gods actual personalities, which both Nico and I were happy about. Hera was the biggest change in the movie, even with her being Hercules' biological mother still.

For example, when Hercules was kidnapped by Pain and Panic, she said "Oh no, he's gone, how terrible!", sarcastically. "One of your thousands of children gone. How will you ever cope?" Nico chuckled at that. Pretty. They also added a villain song for Hades called "Summertime" for Persephone.

"I wonder why they didn't even mention Persephone in the original." Nico whispered to me.

"I don't know, maybe they were running out of money for animation?" He shrugged.

"Doubt it, Disney's loaded." I nodded.

"True."

During 'I won't say I'm in love', I slowly moved my hand to next to Nico's, he noticed and took it shyly, avoiding my eyes. We both blushed.

Soon the movie was done and we headed out of the theater, still holding hands.
