The next morning, Bucky wakes up to find you still curled up into him. He smiles and kisses your forehead and slowly gets out of bed. He heads downstairs to get you both some coffee and finds the team waiting for him in the kitchen.

Bucky:"What's up guys?"

Nat:"What happened last night?"

Wanda:"Is she ok? She was screaming."

Bucky:"Guys, she's fine. She had a nightmare."

Steve:"Did she say what it was about? Should we be worried?"

Bucky:"She said it was about her dad. I got her calmed down, we talked about it, and she was fine the rest of the night guys. I promise."

Nat:"Poor thing. Steve you said last night that she was feeling really overwhelmed? That must have triggered it".

Thor:"Are we sure about that guys?"

Bucky:"Why? What do you mean?"

Thor:"Are we sure it wasn't Loki? I told you he's powerful. He can get into peoples minds. Maybe he got to her."

Tony:"The man in the drapes could be on to something guys."

Bucky:"Guys I don't think that was it. Look, she said she was ok, so let's not press it. She's fine."

Clint:"Well, why don't we have a training day today? The party is in a few days, and she's hoping it will lure him out. So, let's get her ready."

Tony:"Perfect. Nat and Wanda, when you are done training why don't you take Y/N shopping. Get some new things for her. Some girl time. Get her mind off everything."

Nat:"On you? You know I won't turn that down. Hey Bucky, why don't you come with us today? Might be a nice distraction for her?"

Bucky:"Sure. I'll go wake her up. And guys, don't mention that you heard her? Don't bombard her with questions ok? The last thing she is going to want is a group sharing session."

Bucky grabs the two cups of coffee that Nat just poured for her and Steve and heads back upstairs.

Nat:"Bucky! Fuckin rude!!", then glances at Steve. "Not going to say it?"

Steve:"No. it was rude. You can say whatever you want."

Bucky gets back to his room, and sees you are no longer in bed so he goes to your room. He walks in quietly and hears the shower going. He puts the coffee down and comes to say good morning to you. You are finishing up as he walks in.

Bucky:"Good morning, beautiful" he says as he smiles and hands you a towel.

Y/N:"Good morning to you handsome" you say as you grab the towel and wrap it around you. You lean in and give him a kiss.

Bucky:"So, we are going to have a training session this morning and then Nat, Wanda and I are taking you out for the day. Does that sound ok?"

Y/N:"Well not the training part" you laugh, "but the rest sounds amazing."

He smiles at you and says "Good. Well finish getting dressed babe, I'll meet you downstairs". You grab his hand as he turns to walk out.

Y/N:"Hey. Thank you for last night Buck."

Bucky:"You don't have to thank me doll. I have nightmares too, and I know it would be easier to handle having someone there". You smile up at him and he pulls you into a hug. "I care about you. And I just want to keep you safe. From anything." He kisses your forehead and and releases the hug. "Now, put on some comfy clothes and get that sexy butt downstairs."
