Lando is drinking a lot more than he usually does, Carlos finds.
Something seems to have happened, perhaps something between him and Camila — because Carlos really can't find another reason as to why Lando's been drinking so much tonight.
Or perhaps it's something to do with Yuxin.
Either way, Carlos feels like he's got to take away the drink in Lando's hand, because at this rate, he'll be throwing up non-stop tomorrow morning.
Daniel looks at Lando with concern, eyebrows raised as he watches Lando finish another drink. "Another one!" he says, his words slurred as he looks into the distance dazedly.
"Is he okay?" Daniel asks, and Carlos shrugs.
"Lando, you good?" Carlos asks, patting the younger boy on the back. "So... good. No... bad." Lando says, his sudden cherry expression turning into one of sadness.
"Why?"
"Broke up... Camila. No more!" Lando replies, and Daniel and Carlos look at each other with wide eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, man. But why don't we... lay off the drinks for a little bit?" Daniel suggests, dragging Lando away from the bar. The British boy frowns, pouting as Daniel leads him towards some seats.
"What happened?"
Carlos doesn't think he and Daniel will get any coherent answers, but they think that they can make out Lando's drunken speech pretty well. "Made Xinnie... go away. Disappeared. No Xinnie... I'm sad."
This is easy to decode, Carlos thinks. He places his phone on the table so he can pat Lando on the back, and the boy grabs his phone. "Ay, Lando — what are you doing?"
