At all Cost

Chapter 17

Confused, sympathy, and pity were reflecting in their eyes. They were giving me those kind of emotions that I couldn't bare. After I discussed to them what happened about an hours ago they were giving me those kind of stares. I almost cried again.

"What should we do now?" asked Geo, sucking his lollipop.

"We should inform Boss Tig regarding this matter. We cannot do a plan without their prior knowledge... since, this is not just our battle." Orion commented.

"Isa pa kasangkot ang pamilya ni Zen sa gulong ito... we should be considerate, guys. We should hear Zen's opinion." Zion give me an apologetic looked. They are staring at me again waiting for me to talk. I took a deep breath as I stare at Venzon who was looking at me too. He was sitting beside me and never left my side even though I am already fine now after my break down.

We are all here in our head quarter. After what happened an hours ago, I tell them to come over here. 

"But wait! Why does Mr. Suarez son is here? Aren't he supposed to be not here? Naguguluhan ako, enlighten me please." takang tanong ni Geo habang may pailing iling pa itong nalalaman.

"Oo nga! This is confidentiality and a client shouldn't be hearing this."

"He's with me." I plainly replied. They all gaped.

"Ano?!" they all exclaimed in unison. Lahat sila ay gulantang tila hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi ko.

"Teka nga lang... your job is to protect him not to get in touch with him! Ano bang pumapasok sa utak mo?"

"What's wrong with that? Am I not allowed to befriend with my client?"

"Be friend?!" they asked again in unison together with Venzon who has this unbearable stares. Naniningkit ang mga nito tila hindi nagustuhan ang sinabi ko.

"Be friend, huh? Actually... we're officially dating." Venzon announced mocking me. Napangaga ako.

"Ano?!" they exclaimed in unison again. I rolled my eyes. Sinapak ko ang balikat ni Venzon. Maarteng napaaray siya na tila talaga nasaktan.

"We kissed and sleep together." Venzon stated as he casually held my hand and kissed it. Nahulog ni Geo ang lollipop na nasa bunganga niya habang si Orion na nakaupo sa desk ay halos mahulog sa kinauupuan niya. Sa kabilang banda naman ay tulala nang nakatitig sa amin si Zion at si Dyne naman ay namumula na ang mukha.

My face instantly heat up.

"Teka nga lang! Paano nangyari iyon?" hindi parin makapaniwalang tanong ni Orion.

"Man, congrats! You just tamed a freaking beast!" exclaimed Geo as he applauded.

"It was hella roller coaster ride, actually." Venzon smirked as if he just won a gold medal. Maangas niya pang sinuntok ng bahagya ang dibdib nito na parang sinasabing 'malakas ito bro'.

"Anong klaseng technique ang ginawa mo? Alam mo bang walang nagsubok na ligawan yan ng mga kalalakihan dito dahil sa taray at sungit niya."

"Alam mo din bang lahat ng lalaki dito ay kinatatakutan siya."

"You're exaggerating your words, morons!" I shouted.

"Hindi biro ang pag-papaamo sa mga tigre alam mo ba iyon. Para siyang tigreng bubuga ng apoy. Haft dragon haft tiger. She's the worst."

"She's the sweetest."

Napangiwi si Geo at Orion sa sinabi ni Venzon.

"Man, you're doom."

"Dude that's sarcasm."

Natawa silang tatlo at halos mapanganga ako nang mag apir sila na parang matagal na silang magtotropa. Sa asar ko ay binatukan ko ng malakas si Venzon.
