I opened the drives side door to my dads black hellcat before getting in and closing the door back
"took long enough, you look the same" my dad said
I looked at him with a mug on my face while placing my bag in the backseat
He looked at me and mugged me back, me and him act damn near the same so usually we be beefing
"you found what typa of car you wanted" he asked
I nodded my head putting on my seatbelt "I wanna see if they got the Kia Forte or the Kia Optima" I said smiling before putting the car in reverse and taking my foot off the break
"I thought you wanted a Honda?" he said getting on his phone
"I changed my mind" I said as i started speeding a little
I heard him chuckle "They got a red Forte and a all black Optima"
"interior ?"
"Forte black, Optima cream or beige"
I smiled thinking about buying my first car today
"I definitely wanna view the Optima"
"whatever you want big head"
my dad has always been there for me, when I was 7 he got locked up for assault with a deadly weapon he was in there for 6 years and came home for my 13th birthday bash. It was a big surprise him and my mom planned even though they weren't on good terms. When he got locked up my behavior changed I used to be sweet,bubbly, and super social but after things changed I started to be very distant, disrespectful, I started to fight people more in school. I wasn't no dummy but the stuff people was saying took a toll on the way I acted, I did most of my schoolwork after school or while sitting in the principals office where I got sent a lot. Now that I think back on it I said and did very bad thing and I feel bad for my mother for having to deal with that. She understands where it came from though because she went through the same thing but with my nana, her mother
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my dad say "mani you passed the dealership..."
"fuck" I mumbled turning at the next light then going up the backroad behind the dealership
I parked the car then took off my seatbelt reaching in the back after for my purse
"we gon be here for a while so be ready, ion wanna hear no complaining" my dad said getting out the car
"pops please, I can be here all day no complaining" I said getting put the car locking the with the key before handing it to my dad

We had been at this funky dealership for 2 hours...It was fun at first but now it's getting annoying
