Skylar sat in her car in the parking garage of Jai'Lynns complex
She wanted to bring Emoni since she's been asking about Jai but she didn't know how Jai was doing and if she was stable
"please answer" she begged holding the phone up to her ear
Once it connected she heard her
"hello?" Jai's raspy voice came through
"is your door unlocked?"
"no, why?"
"open it i'm coming up"
Jai'Lynn sighed "I don't wan-"
"I don't care what you want and what you don't want, everyone is i'm worried about you Jai, Moni wanted to see you and I can barely get in contact with you what's going on?" Skylar cut her off
"the door's unlocked" was all Jai said before she hung up
Skylar took the phone from her ear turning it off then grabbing her keys opening her door getting out then closing it behind her
As she made her way to Jai's front door she took a deep breath before opening the door
To her surprise everything looked normal except for some dishes piled up in the sink
"Jai'Lynn" Skylar called out
"I'm coming" she shouted back
Skylar walked to the living room taking a seat on the couch she looked around noticing a pair of male shoes on the side of the couch
Jai'Lynn took a deep breath walking into the living room "hey" she said with a small smile
"what's going on Jai?"
"what you mean?" she asked siting down
"you ghosting everyone for what?, and who shoes are those?"
"I haven't been in the mood to talk to anyone" she sighed "those are Chris's shoes" she mumbled
"Chris wit the babymomma?" Skylar scrunched her face up
Jai nodded as she felt her eyes get teary
"why are you crying mama?" Skylar asked as she moved closer to Jai
She could tell Jai wanted to express herself, she'd been holding in her emotions not letting them out and now there built up there bringing her down. She's stuck.
"I fucked up Sky I fucked it all up!" she broke down "I said I wouldn't go back I promised myself I wouldn't a-and I did, now i'm lost I don't know what to do or how to get rid of him, he keeps lying and lying and then he wants me to meet his son!, why would I want to meet his son that he hid from me Sky" she ranted
"Tell me how your feeling Jai and I'll help the best I can" Skylar said rubbing her back to comfort her
Jai sat up and looked at Sky wiping her face "I want to be loved Skylar that's all I want, I want a male to love me the way I love him...I'm trying to find myself but I can't my mind is telling me that I need a male to live, without someone there to comfort me or to lay with me I feel useless, I tried to change my mind but I'm constantly fighting with myself and it's tiring" Jai dropped her shoulder "I'm so fuckin tired, you don't understand-"
