You smiled at his sugary sweet words and was about to reply to him before you heard a knock at your door. You headed downstairs and reached for the doorknob. Your eyes widened and brimmed with happy tears as soon as you saw who knocked. You ran into his arms instantly and cried out "Kazuha!"
He smiled gently and said "Aww you're so happy that your wandering samurai has returned aren't you!"
You replied pouting into his chest "Of course why wouldn't I be?"
He smiled gently and kissed the top of your head and just then you noticed he was soaking wet and exclaimed, "You're soaking! Get in here! Why didn't you have an umbrella! You're going to catch a cold!" And with that you dragged him inside and closed the door so you could dry him off.
He smiled as you were doing this and said gently, "These simple things you do for me just make me fall deeper in love with you.. I love you maple.."
You overheard what he said and smiled gently and replied, "I love you too my wandering samurai" and pulled him in for a kiss.
