NeedleClan is known as a rather harsh Clan among their neighbours ReedClan and ThornClan. Before becoming a warrior, their apprentices are tasked with a difficult challenge they must pass. Should they fail, however, NeedleClan casts them out immediately. Most of these exiled apprentices are offered shelter within ReedClan and ThornClan with a few choosing to leave Clanlife behind. One such apprentice, Featherpaw, is angered by her BirthClan's injustice, with a burning desire to overthrow the current leader and establish a better system. With the help of others like her, she plots a rebellion.
