ALL DAY, KAMAIA HAD BEEN PAMPERED BY HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY. As she should've been. From the range of gifts she received to the heartfelt messages, she was one happy girl.
The whole day was spent with her close friends and family, and true to his word, Jadon made the day worth spending. Not only did he surprise her with a beautiful bouquet of white roses (her favourite), but he managed to put a genuine smile on her face once again, and Eden and Charlize couldn't be more grateful that he was there for their sister.
Setting down the roses on her vanity as she took of her heels, Kamaia's gaze moved to her bed where she saw a different bunch of roses, albeit the same colour.
Walking towards it, she saw a note attached to it. Thinking nothing else of the flowers, she opened the note, holding the bouquet in her arms.
As soon as she opened the note however, she recognised the handwriting all too well. Sucking in a sharp breath, she put the bouquet down, along with the note, not bothering to hurt herself by reading past the 'Dear Maia' that was neatly scribed at the top.
Instead, she locked it away at the bottom of one of her drawers, all forgotten about for now.
