[After lunch, Midnight has agreed to let the Comfort Group prepare her makeover. After a spa session, bath and toothbrush, it was soon time to prepare her makeup, and they agreed to keep her occupied with that whist the Dress Group prepared the dress. Goddess had already crafted the main bodice and had the underskirt ready and long so that the team could cut it to any length when the final design was finished.]
Goddess: Oh, just quickly decide!
Dollie: Obviously it's going to include stars all over it.
Sis Rebel: It needs a New Year's theme, but I think she needs to try out some different fashion. Something she's never worn before.
Mr December: I'd prefer if we made it all starry and New Year-y, but add little touches of each category of fashion to represent the new changes of the new year.
Whimsy Witch: That's an excellent idea!
Goddess: Perfect, I have everything; glitter, fabric, lace, silk or satin, leather, fishnets, thread, glue, dye, glow-in-the-dark...
[So the Dress Group got their thoughts, ideas and brains together and came up with a design of an outfit that binds all fashion together:
A single-sleeved black leather 'half' jacket with gothic spikes and buckles, and a winter fur collar and cuff
A single fingerless glove on the other arm, with a laced steampunk glove
An ombre fishscale bodice pattered with stars, with a bowtie choker connected through a spiderweb halter
A white belt with a golden star buckle
A knee-high star-patterned layered skirt with a silk petticoat underneath and lined with lace, hearts and bows
A black ribbon stiletto heel with rainbow stars
A Victorian-style leather boot
At the end, the team had worked long and hard in Goddess's dorm with their needle and thread, scissors, sewing machines, and when the masterpiece was finished, they didn't really think it was a masterpiece.]
Dear Dollie: Looks messy.
Whimsy Wizard: It sure does have a lot of stars, but I think that combining all our styles was a bad idea.
Interview
Goddess: It looked magnificent! Beautiful, stunning, it was the best idea ever. I'm sure Midnight would love it! Besides, there was nothing we could do now, since it was already done and our hard work couldn't go to waste. There were aspects of all the fashion I could think of, as if we went shopping around the world while time-traveling! I was used to designing and making my own outfits, but with the help of the children, the end result made my jaw drop every time I laid my eyes on it.
For me, I was looking forward to the party and was wondering what the preparation group were doing... little did I know...
