originally nancy merrin. she was the second child in the three child. all of the attention goes to her sisters, and she was emotionally neglected. due to her chromesthesia she has always been an outcast, and her family doesnt believe her when she say the colours of the noises. however, henry believes it. so the two of them has always been close together. nancy knows how bad frances is, but there wasnt really anything she can do. the two of them leaned on eachother as they grow up, and they married eachother to allow henry to escape.
well, who could predict that the new house they live would require them to be roommates with frances? but luckily, possibly due to witnessing henrys independence and his capability of leaving her, she became way more controlled than before.
