"fck that rn get up ahnestii" i said picking her up and grabbing some towels to stop the bleeding
i sat her on the edge of the tub and applied pressure to the cuts to ease the bleeding.
after abt 30 mins of sitting in silence i asked her what was wrong
"talk to me ahnestii, what's wrong" i said
"everything jay , ts is tiring" she said crying
"ahnestii what's tiring you're not telling me what's wrong" i replied while holding her
"my best friend just died and left me with a big responsibility, you getting shot and me having to still take care of you, having to be there for kaylani after she experienced what i did, my mother just being a bitch all and all. ion even feel like im being a good mother figure for Zay'lin so how am i gone raise another" she said crying harder
"wait wym another?" i asked
"im pregnant jay" she said
"you serious?" i asked smiling
"yes and i dnt even know if i could deal with another child rn" she added
my smile faded because i wanted a child of my own and knowing she didn't want the baby kinda bothered me but it's her body and her choice so imma let her do what she wanna do.
"oh" i said
a silence fell between us
after a while she had fell asleep in my arms on the floor. i got up and walked in the room and put her in the bed making sure to not touch her arm.
"i love you jay" she said looking at me
them words touched my soul coming from her.
"i love you too ma" i said kissing ha forehead and walking out the room
i left her so she can sleep peacefully
i walked in kaylani room to see if she wanted to go somewhere so she won't go bothering ahnestii
"you got any plans tdy?" i asked standing inna doorway
"is you gone take me to these plans?" she said
"listen here fck nigga" i said
"yesss i do got plans, you gone take me fr tho?" she said laughing
"where you tryna go?" i asked
"kourture house" she said
"mane fck no" i said leaving out the room
