Ch 12

The next morning I wake up feeling a lot better and I'm happy that my heat is finally completely gone. I get out of bed rubbing my eyes only to look up and blush when I see Taeyong exiting the bathroom with only a towel around his waist. Quickly looking away I hide my face shyly he letting out a little chuckle. "You can look now I'm decent." I slowly look up seeing him pulling on his shirt I letting out a shy squeak of embarrassment he giving me an amused look. "We've literally slept together and you can't even look at me shirtless." I give him a look pouting my face red. "I was feral with need and hardly remember. And I'm not exactly used to attractive alphas being undressed in front of me." He gives me a smirk. "You think I'm attractive?" I blush even more if possible and groan falling back onto the bed in embarrassment making him laugh. "Alright I'm done embarrassing you go get a shower and get dressed then we'll leave." I slowly get out of bed again and head to his closet grabbing a hoodie and some sweatpants then bypass him to the bathroom. I quickly shower then get dressed before heading out of the bathroom with a bright smile. "Ready." He smiles then leads me out of the room and through the halls to a large garage a really tall guy leaning against one of the cars I able to smell that he's an alpha. Taeyong leads me over to him before looking down at me. "Kaelan this is Johnny. Johnny this is Kaelan." I give a little smile and bow politely. "Hi! Nice to meet you." He smiles winking at me. "Nice to meet you as well. You know Taeyong didn't mention that you were a cutie." I blush slightly and Taeyong gives a little growl Johnny immediately holding his hands up in surrender raising an eyebrow at him. "Okay mr protective I didn't mean any harm." I giggle a little and instinctively take Taeyong's hand giving it a little squeeze he relaxing a bit. "Let's just go." I let go of Taeyong's hand and hop in the backseat as Johnny takes the drivers and Taeyong takes the passenger seat. I quickly buckle up and relax a little as we start driving I about to tell Johnny where to turn when he already does so before I can say anything. I blink a little in confusion asking warily. "How do you already know where to go?" Taeyong looks back at me reassuringly. "The night I gave you my hoodie when you were stuck outside I had Johnny pick me up and we remembered the address." I slowly nod then perk up when we stop in front of my grandmothers house seeing my sister leaning against the porch railing I immediately getting out before the car even comes to a full stop and run over to her happily tackling her in a hug. "I missed you!" She smiles and laughs hugging me back. "I missed you too you dork." I pull away smiling then hear footsteps from behind me I hearing Taeyong's scolding tone. "Kaelan you can't just hop out of a moving car like that it's dangerous." I slowly turn to look at him sheepishly. "Sorry." His expression softens a little and he lets out a sigh. "Just please don't do that again." I smile and nod then remember my sister turning my head she observing us. "Is this your alpha Kaelan?" I blush and give a little shy nod. "Um yeah this is Taeyong." She seems to study him for a moment before finally giving a little nod. "I'm Reese nice to meet you. You better take care of my brother." I groan and pout. "I'm the older one and you're making me sound like a baby!" She raises an eyebrow at me. "You basically are a baby you can't even walk to the bathroom without a really bright light." I give her a look. "Let's just go get our things." She looks at me confused. "Our things?" I nod. "Yep we're going to live with Taeyong and his friends because I'm not leaving you here with halmeoni alone." She blinks about to protest but I just pat her head. "Shhh trust me. I'll explain everything on our way home." She slowly nods and we head inside I telling Taeyong to wait by the car as Reese and I go and grab suitcases that we already had packed just incase we ever needed it. We drag our bags out Johnny and Taeyong taking the bags and putting them in the trunk while Reese and I get in the back of the car buckling up. As we start driving I then start explaining everything to Reese she staring at me in disbelief when I mention that the guys are apart of a mafia. I shrug at her. "It's no worse than being with our grandmother. At least with them we'll have freedom." She frowns a little before letting out a sigh. "Yeah you have a point." I smile at her acceptance saying cheerfully. "Good." Soon we reach the house and we all get out when the car stops I going to grab mine and Reese's bags then follow Taeyong and Johnny inside with Reese beside me. We head upstairs and through the hallways stopping in front of two doors Taeyong motioning to them. "Here's your rooms. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask someone." Reese nods while I purse my lips my wolf howling in disapproval at being away from Taeyong but I ignore it and nod handing Reese her suitcase while I take mine and we head into our rooms I looking around curiously at the large room. I spot the fluffy bed and take a seat on it only to wrinkle my nose at the plain fabric softener scent there no scent of vanilla anywhere and my wolf immediately feels lonely and rejected. Letting out a sigh I get up and open the door walking down the hallway silently observing everything when I turn a corner and run into the attractive alpha from when I went into heat in the kitchen. He quickly steadies me I grasping onto his arms for balance and support when we look up meeting each other's eyes he seeming to freeze in place before letting me go taking a step backwards. "Sorry I didn't mean to run into you." I give a shy reassuring smile. "It's okay I wasn't paying attention." He goes to say something when someone clears their throat we both turning our heads and I spot a small dark haired omega looking at us with a raised eyebrow. "Jaehyun you better back off you know Taeyong will kill you for even looking at his omega a certain way." I frown slightly and go to say something when Jaehyun quickly excuses himself running off. Blinking I look at the omega with slight narrowed eyes. "Well that wasn't nice he was just making sure I was okay and didn't fall." He raises an eyebrow at me. "Yeah and he was also showing a little too much interest in your scent. Trust me Taeyong would not be happy with you around him too much even if they are friends and brothers." I frown slightly before changing the subject. "Speaking of I'm actually looking for Taeyong do you know where he is?" The omega hums before saying simply. "In the kitchen with Doyoung and Kun making dinner for everyone." I slowly nod and his lips twitch up into a little smile. "I'll show you where to go." I smile thankfully and start walking with him piping up. "I'm Kaelan by the way. What's your name?" He hums before saying simply. "I'm Ten. Now I have a question for you. How'd you meet Taeyong?" I blush slightly before telling him about trying to walk home at midnight by myself and how Taeyong rescued me. He gives a little nod as he leads me to a large door where I can smell the scent of vanilla I seeming to immediately relax my wolf making little happy noises in my mind. I thank Ten for showing me where to go he giving a little smile. "Take care of him. And listen to your wolf and heart." I slowly nod as he walks off then turn to the door nervously giving a small knock before opening it and peek my head in shyly. I'm met with the looks of Doyoung and another attractive beta who both give me kind smiles before Doyoung nudges Taeyong who pauses and looks towards the door giving me a look of surprise. "Are you okay? What are you doing down here I thought you'd be getting your room settled." I shuffle a little. "I'm already done." He lets out a little oh before saying softly. "Well dinner will be ready soon so why don't you go get your sister?" I slowly nod and reluctantly turn around leaving the kitchen and head back up towards the rooms to go get Reese and I lead her back down to the kitchen where we're lead to a large dining room I being dragged over to Taeyong's side while Reese sits beside me and once we're served we eat happily. Once dinner is finished there's an argument on who will do the dishes I speaking up a little loudly. "I'll do them guys you all go ahead and head to bed." Everyone quickly gets up and runs off except for Taeyong and Reese both of them looking at me in disbelief. "You really plan on doing these by yourself? It'll take all night." I shrug getting up and start to clear the table. "It's fine I got this." Soon Taeyong gets up and starts helping me clear the table Reese also getting up to help but Taeyong and I both give her a stern look I saying firmly. "You go on to bed Reese you always did the dishes at home let me do them for once." She looks like she wants to protest but Taeyong gently nudges her towards the door. "Go on and get some rest." She sighs but reluctantly leaves and I go back to clearing the table before going to the sink and start the water for the dishes. Taeyong then steps up behind me and moves me aside so I'm on the other side of the sink I about to protest when he gives me a little smile. "I'll wash while you rinse and dry." I give a little nod of acceptance and we immediately get started on the dishes it quiet between us but it's not awkward.
