The males ran in the cave, only to see Sunny being held up by Morrowseer's tail and the guardians tying Tsunami and Phoenix up in chains. "Stop! Please let them go!" Sunny cried out, but it was in vain as Kestrel shot fire at the chains, melting them together. The blue dragons were now trapped.

"Why are you doing this?! Tsunami is amazing, and Phoenix is brilliant as well! If anyone can stop the war it's them!" Morrowseer huffed, straightening himself. "Actually, tiny Sandwing, the one you should follow is Starflight." he then pointed at himself with a smug grin, ignoring Starflight's dark glare. "Nightwings are natural leaders."

Tsunami snarled at Kestrel, pulling at the chains. "You'll regret this! When my family finds out how you treated us-" Kestrel cut her off, "All your dreams of your wonderful family. Nobody cares about you. When it's time to fulfill the prophecy the Talons of Peace will have you. That's all that matters." She then began to walk away, all while glaring at the Seawing. "Maybe some time away from the river will teach you to be more grateful for what you have, Seawing." she then casted her glare at Phoenix. "And maybe you'll learn to behave properly as you should, Skywing." Phoenix snarled through the chains, smoke puffing out of his snout and mouth.

Morrowseer then dropped Sunny, making his way to the entrance. "I'll be back tomorrow to make sure everything has been... dealt with." Kestrel bowed her head in understanding. "We understand" she then walked away, flicking her tail to Webs as a "follow me" way. Sunny held the Seawing's tail, giving him a pleading stare. "You don't have to do this! Please let them go!" Webs did his best to not break down as he pulled his tail away fom the Sandwing. "This is for your own good. I'm sorry, but while I know this is not the best way, we-" "The rest of you," Kestrel cut him off, telling the Seawing to move. "Go to bed. I don't want to hear another sqwak from anyone for the rest of the night."

Tsunami perked up, which Phoenix knew what was going to happen as he covered his ears. "Oh really? What else are you going to do me? What if I feel like singing?!" Glory groaned as she knew what the Seawing meant. "Oh no! Not-"

"Oh, the dragonets are coming!" Tsunami sang, horribly of key and not realizing that she was kind of tone deaf with it. Glory cringed at her singing, but Clay didn't. "I kind of like it!" "They're coming to save the day!" Dune growled at Webs. "This is your fault! I told you to not teach them that horrible song." "They're coming to fight!" Sunny sang along, all while Clay hummed along. Kestrel had enough of this and marched up to Tsunami. "We could chain your mouth shut!" the Seawing ignored this and kept singing. "The dragonets-" Kestrel pulled at her ear and yelled at her. "Or we could chain up your friends! Perhaps Clay would like to spend the night hanging from a stalactite! Or maybe Phoenix would like to spend the night that same way?!"

Tsunami stopped singing, not wanting any of that to happen to her friends. "That's much better." the Skywing then marched away. "You were all vile today. You are lucky we don't have to chain you all up." Clay bit on the chains, trying to set his friends free. "Clay stop! You have to find out what they're-" "We need to get out of here TONIGHT!" Clay said as he let go of the chains, knowing he wouldn't be able to break them. "Tonight they're going to kill Permafrost and Glory!"

Sunny gasped, horrified at what the guardians planned for her two friends. "They wouldn't!" Glory sighed, pulling a terrified Permafrost close to her. "They would. They would do anything for the prophecy, and we all know that most of Pyrrhia is not as tolerant to hybrids, which Perma is." The IceMudwing shook on the spot, tears threatening to spill out. "Y-you won't l-let them kill me, ri-right?" he stammered, and Glory held him into a hug. "No. We will not let them kill you, Permafrost." She turned to the others. "Asha and Hvitur will be devastated if they find out that the guardians killed their son. I'll hide him, while you guys find a way to escape."

Sunny then thought of an idea on how to get out. "Actually, how about-" Tsunami stated, wishing that she wasn't tied up. Clay huffed, looking back at his friend. "I would take any risk to save you guys." Sunny then tried to speak again. "Guys-" Glory interrupted the Sandwing, wrapping her wings around Permafrost and covering him up. "No, guys. Don't get caught up in my problems." Clay huffed, turning to the river. Sunny tried again now, this time yelling over everyone. "Guys! Listen! How about the sky hole in the study cave?" Starflight shook his head. "It's too small, even for you or Permafrost. Trust me, I already tried." "So did I." Tsunami and Phoenix said. "I did as well." Glory stated, her scales changing color. "Why didn't I try that?" Clay thought as he frowned.

Phoenix looked around, the chains pulling his head in. "There has to be another way!" Clay huffed and turned to Tsunami. "You have an idea! I can tell you have had an escape plan since forever!" Sunny frowned, not having known of this. "Forever? Why didn't anyone ever tell me that?" Tsunami sighed, turning to the river. "It's too dangerous. It was supposed to be me." Clay looked at the water. "The river?"

Permafrost gently nudged Glory, curling his tail in and tucking in his wings. "Glory you could turn invisible to hide us, right?" Glory nodded, shifting her scales to hide herself and Permafrost. "Sure I can. The other guardians don't know I can do this. I guess it's a good thing we never studied Rainwings after all!" She said, now fully invisible and hiding the IceMudwing.

He finally made his way to the river, entering the cold water. Glory then shifted her head scales to be visible, then she called out to Clay. "Hey Clay. I didn't want to admit this, but.." her visible scales shifted to a light pink color. "We wouldn't have made it through these last eight years without you." Clay gently smiled at her, then he swam away to the direction of the river exit. Starflight then called out to him. "Be sure to follow the current. If the river runs out into the world, the current will take you anywhere!" Clay now looked unsure at that, fear striking his head. "If?"

Sunny jumped in and gave him a hug. "Don't you dare die!" she said, then left the river. Starflight called to him as he swam further away. "Don't panic. If you do then you'll run out of air faster." Clay nodded, then he took in a deep breath and dove into the water, making his way to the river exit.

"Don't die.." Sunny whispered, scared for her friend.
