I get inside the Alchemax factory again

This time, I'm wearing my new suit

I go to a weapons testing lab and see a dead security guard

Y/N: Alfred, do you see this?

Alfred: Looks like an accident killed this security guard, sir.

Y/N: There's more going on here than just an accident. This guard's skin has the same blue coloration as Freeze's.

I activate my evidence scanner and looks like the guard died from heat stroke, which is strange since the room didn't show signs of overheating.

I then walk some more and see signs of a fight that happened in the lab between two men

Using my scanner, I see some palm prints on the glass. They're a match for Victor Fries

He watched that security guard die

Reconstructing the crime scene, I see that Fries has managed to scavenge what he needed from various prototypes to build himself a supercooled survival suit

I also see that a huge ice explosion happened in this room, freezing one of the security guards and killing him

But evidence suggests otherwise...it appears the guard was frozen before the ice tank exploded. Must have been caused by Freeze's ice gun

As I progress in reconstructing the crime scene, I see that Fries was assaulted by three guards, one of them hit him a weapon. That made him knock the ice cannon down and freeze one of the guards, exploding the ice tank in the process

When the tank exploded, it released a plume of cryochemicals

The plume got Freeze and one of the guards, but its shockwave knocked the assailant and his gun clear

I find the gun under a crust of ice

There's blood on it. A 98.5% match with Victor Fries' blood

And the fingerprints analysis shows...Ferris Boyle?

It was Ferris who attacked Freeze, but why?

I see wheel marks on the ground, suggesting that maybe a gurney was wheeled through the room

The gurney was attached to a computer with its own database

I hack into the database to discover more about what happened

Huh...Fries was secretly doing research on Huntington's Chorea. But this is a cryogenic weapons lab

I also see that the test subject was Nora Fries, Victor's wife

Now I know what happened here

Boyle hired Victor to help advance the secret cryoweapons program within Alchemax

In exchance, Boyle agreed to help Victor with resources to finding a cure for Nora's disease

I manage to reconstruct the entire crime scene based on this information

Boyle was more interested in how Victor had managed to put Nora into cryostasis

When Victor realized that Boyle didn't follow the deal, he decided to do the Huntington's research himself...but Boyle didn't like that

The cryochenical cocktail altered Victor's metabolism...and one of the guard's

 Boyle escaped, but Victor survived

He knew that leaving the super-cooled lab would kill him

This is why he built himself a suit and managed to keep his core temperature subzero
