A day after Y/N and Kate met with Professor Xavier

The scene crackles with tension as Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man, enters his apartment, his senses tingling with the unmistakable presence of danger. With a cautious glance around the room, his gaze lands on a figure seated in the shadows, a flicker of recognition sparking in his mind.

Peter's heart quickens as he locks eyes with the mysterious intruder, a sense of foreboding settling over him like a heavy shroud. As the figure steps forward into the dim light, revealing himself to be none other than Y/N Wayne, the weight of the moment hangs in the air like an unspoken challenge

Y/N: Peter Parker...I believe we met. I'm Y/N Wayne.

Peter: Uh...oh! Right...that New Year's Eve party in your manor, of course. What...what brings you here, Mr. Wayne?

Y/N shows Peter a surveillance video of Wayne Manor with Peter entering the kitchen pantry and exiting as Spider-Man the night when Mr. Freeze invaded the Manor

His revelation casts a shadow of doubt over their previous encounter, the implications of his discovery sinking in with startling clarity.

Peter: I...I can explain. It's not what it looks like, I swear. I mean, yeah, I was there, but...but I was just...I had to...uh...protect myself...from the bad guys

Y/N: I looked for you in every database possible...no records of anything before 2024. Who are you, Mr. Parker?

Peter's heart pounds in his chest as he grapples with the weight of Y/N's question, the truth heavy on his conscience as he struggles to find the right words to explain his past actions. His decision to erase his existence from everyone's memory weighs heavily on him, the consequences of his sacrifice now coming to light in the face of Y/N's scrutiny.

Peter: I...I made a choice. A difficult one. I...I asked Doctor Strange to cast a spell...to make everyone forget about me. My identity, my existence...all of it. It was...it was the only way to protect the ones I love. To keep them safe from the dangers that follow me.

Y/N listens intently, his expression unreadable as he absorbs Peter's confession

Y/N: I'm putting together a team...people with special abilities. You see, I believe that there are threats incoming...from anywhere. And we need to be ready. 

Peter takes a deep breath

Peter: I...that's gonna be tough...

Y/N: Why's that? 

Peter: After that whole incident with my secret identity, I decided to focus more on myself, y'know? Be the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Y/N nods, understanding the gravity of Peter's decision and the personal journey he's embarked upon in the aftermath of his sacrifice.

Y/N: I get it. But sometimes, being the hero means stepping up when the world needs you, even if it's the last thing you want to do. I'm not asking you to abandon your life, Peter. I'm asking you to consider joining forces with us, to help protect not just your neighborhood, but the entire city, maybe even the world.

Peter listens, his mind racing with conflicting emotions as he grapples with the idea of returning to a life he thought he'd left behind. But deep down, he knows that the responsibility of being a hero never truly fades, no matter how hard he tries to escape it.
