Nia was happily dreaming of chicken and tacos, her eyes feeling a bit warmer than normal as she moved around in her asleep state when it stopped, only for her to fall to the floor of her room. A yelp left her mouth as her body hit the ground painfully, opening her eyes just in time to see Venom retreat back into her.
She promised to curse him out later as she tried to roll over to stand up, only to find herself now face to face with Hobart. So as to not wake him up, she tried crawling over him slowly making her way to the door of her bedroom, momentarily getting caged in between both Spider-Men.
Finally, she let out a sigh when she came out of her bedroom and went to the kitchen but not before locking the door just in case her father was still home.

The man wasn't so Nia opened the fridge, scratching her arm as she looked at her options. Nia then pulled out her ingredients and while the pan warmed up she took off her bonnet and cleaned up her hair, replacing her piercing as well to see the two spiders still laying asleep on her floor.
As the eggs fried, Nia though to how she had pondered on the choice she had been given. Honestly, most of the villains in her world were either gone or...dead, so she and Venom were getting quite bored of doing the same thing over and over again. While she was mulling it over, her bedroom door opened and Gwen and Hobie came out, their hair a mess contrary to Nia's own.
"You two sleep well?" Nia asked them.
"Oh what is that smell?" Gwen lifte her nose up and smiled when she saw the food that was begging to pile up "Thank you Nia"
"It's no problem" she responded, pulling a chocolate muffin from the oven and raising it with one hand for Venom who happily chomped down on it.
Hobie yawned widely, not saying anything as he dropped himself onto one of the kitchen chairs, his top body lazily laying on the table. He ignored, or didn't see, the glare that Nia was throwing him as he proceeded to lay his head on his arms and tried to grab a few pieces of bacon.
"Hands off until it's done" Nia scolded him.
He, of course ignore her, and popped a few small bits of the meat into his mouth, savouring the greasy food. Nia sighed, not sure how she could handle more Spider people if they were similar to Hobie. Thankfully Gwen appeared at least a bit grateful as she was handed her own plate.
"So, when do we go to your HQ?" Nia asked while flipping over the last pancake.
"You're coming?" Gwen looked at the older girl with wide eyes, happy that her first mission was going well.
"Oh bolloks" Hobie groaned, covering his face with his hand (I'm not entirely sure Hobie would speak like that so correct me if I'm wrong 😑).
"Sure. At least to see what you people are all about" Nia shrugged her shoulders.
"Oh good. Excuse me a sec I gotta talk to Jess now" Gwen quickly left the table.
"You know it's not a very good idea princess" Hobie told her, raising his eyes to look at her with a small smirk.

Nia looked in curiosity as the man turned grey and black, trying to think how no one before had noticed that he was coloured differently than others. Gwen was also different but not as much as the male.
"And why is that?" Nia asked the man, holding a piece of pancake between two fingers and flicking it at the male who shook his head to get it off his hair.
"Let's just say that you won't know what you're gettin' yourself into love" Hobie said, chuckling his own whole pancake at her.
"Hey!" Nia shouted.
She threw a piece of rather sticky pancake due to the syrup she had poured over it and it hit Hobie right on his cheek, sliding down it painfully slowly. Hobie laughed and turned pink as he did the same again.
"You turned pink" Nia chuckled.
"So what princess. You are turning pink as well" Hobie retorted with a smile as it was true that the laughing was making Nia's cheeks pink from the pressure of them.
"Shut up and don't call me princess" Nia grumbled out.
"Of course princess" Hobie did a mock bow to dodge the incoming food proyectile.
The food kept coming at each other from both sides and the house was about to be completely covered in breakfast foods. Luckily, Venom was there to 'save the day' as he scarfed down the other pieces of pancakes thrown between both humans by coming out and his head floating in between them. The sound of footsteps could be heard as Gwen started to walk back to them.
"Okay Nia, if you're ready..." Gwen came into the room just as the fight was about to turn physical.
"Right, give me a sec" Nia quickly got off her seat and rushed to write a letter on the fridge door to her father so as to not worry him "I'm ready"
"Where are we going?" Venom asked, coming out of Nia and making Gwen flinch once more.
"To the home of the Spider people I presume" Nia said.
"Exactly" Gwen said happily.
Nia and Venom waited while the blonde tapped some sort of coordinates into the watch on her wrist and the pair took a step back when a barrage of colourful light filled Nia's living room. Some sort of wormhole opened in the centre and expanded. Nia closed her gaping mouth when she saw Hobie chuckling softly at her expression. She glared at him, now in a more joking way to then look forward as Gwen disappeared into the portal.
"Do you need me to hold your hand princess?" Hobie asked sarcastically.
His laughter stopped abruptly when Nia took his hand in her own tightly and jumped into the portal, closing her eyes shut.
