And just in that moment, Miles realised he was being surrounded. Nia and Hobie tried to keep away from the others, both of their heads snapping to the sides as they watched all the different Soider-Men joining.
"We going?" Venom asked Nia after having been quiet the whole time.
"Not yet, but be ready" she whispered to him.
"Being Spider-Man is a sacrifice, that's the job" Miguel said "That's what you signed up for"
"Miles" they saw Peni come out of the large robot and Miles glanced around, seeing familiar faces in the crowd.
"What is this?" Miles asked, turning around.
"We know it's hard Miles, but it's the truth" another comically drawn Spider-Man walked forward.
"Is that why you're here? To let us down easy?" Miles asked them "You were right Gwen, you should have never come to see me"

"Kid look at me..." Peter tried to talk but was interrupted by Miles.
"Stop calling me that!" Miles answered.
"Here we go" Hobie said.
"Hobie your not helping" Jessica said "And Nia control him would ya?"
"Me? But...but" Nia gasped out, seeing Hobie smirking at the fact that she was also told off "Shut up"
"Miles, please understand..." Peter tried again to no avail.
"You can't ask him not to save his dad" Hobie grumbled under his breath.
"I'm not asking" Miguel told him.
Hobie's eyes widened from behind Nia when the older man threw one of the prison cubes at the floor in front of Miles, encasing him in the orange energy field and trapping him inside it. While Gwen and Peter as well as the other spiders were fighting over what to do with the rest of the spiders talking and discussing the issue in the background, Hobie walked forward.
"Hobs what are you doing?" Nia muttered under her breath.
Hobie ignored her and showed Miles the palms of his hands, reminding him what he had told the younger male back in Mumbattan. Then Hobie ran over to Nia and forced her head down right as the cage exploded, Venom's black goo coming out in the form of a shield that protected them.
"Come on love" he pulled Nia to her feet and opened another portal, both of them going through it while keeping their eyes on the chaos created.

The Spider-Band was Jalil playing pool in their hidden base when a sudden light came from above them making them stare at it. A dark hole grew larger in the centre until two figures came out of it. They waited as their band member, Hobie Brown, came out of the portal surprisingly followed by someone else.
"Hobs my man! How are ya?" Captain Anarchy (Karl Morningdew) ran up to his friend, hitting his back sharply.
The rest of the band went ahead to greet their friend and finally acknowledged the new arrival.
"And who did you bring here Hobs?" Karl asked while RiotHeart (Riri Williams) asked at the same time as the male.

"My peeps, my friends and family, this is Nia Rivera" Hobie presented the young woman with his hand on her lower back.
"Ehem" the band pulled father away from Nia as a black blob known as Venom came out of her neck.
"And this is Venom. They're chill" Hobie explained.
"Well hello. I'm Riri" the short haired girl came up to Nia, winking her eye at her "Your quite lovely aren't ya? Makes me wonder how the hell Hobs met such a pretty lady"
Nia blushed as she shook the other girl's hand, missing the slight glare that Hobie sent his friend.
"Now now. Let 'er breath people" Robbie Banner (the Hulk) said, grabbing Riri away from Nia "I'm Robbie but my palls call me Rob"
"I'm Nia, like Hobie said" Noa smiled at him.
"I'm Venom" the symbiote introduced himself once more.
"So? Why are you here Hobie?" Karl asked his friend, getting away from under Hobie's arm.
"Just a little hiccup in...private matters" Hobie responded.
"Private? Since when do you keep secrets from us Hobs?" Riri hit his shoulder.
"Ay come off it guys" Hobie shook them off and went behind Nia "And I know this visit has been short but we really should be going. I just came to grab something"
"Aw already?" Riri asked, frowning.
"Yeah. Come on Nia" Hobie held out his hand for her and she linked her fingers with his own.
"Although it was short, I hope to see you some time in the future darling" Riri took Nia's other hand and kissed the back of it while Karl attempted to do the same on,y to have Hobie snatch it away.
"Come on we have to go somewhere else before anything"
"Bye!" "Bye!" both Nia and Venom said goodbye to the Spider band.

Nia's head spun as they went through the portal until they ended up in some very colourful universe.
"Why are we here Hobs?" she asked him.
"I just have to leave something here for a moment" he showed her some sort of knockoff watch of the one all the spiders shared "And you can wait for me here"
"Why...?" Nia tried refuting.
"No. Just this once princess, listen to me and wait down here" Hobie said sternly for the very first time since Nia had met him.
"Alright alright" she held her hands up.

She spent the time waiting for Hobie to come back down to get her by playing Rock Paper Scissors with Venom, him using a black tentacle to make the gestures.
"Gun" the symbiote said.
"Gun!? There's no gun in Rock Paper Scissors" Nia shouted indignantly.
"Are you complaining about a game for kids?" Nia raised her head when Hobie made that statement as he finally came down from the house he had been in for the past, maybe, half hour.
"Pffft, no" Nia shook her head "Shall we go?"
"Time to go backhome love" Hobie said, hooking his arm around her own "Hope you're prepared"
"Sure I am" once again (yes again) Nia held her breath as they shifted back to her own world to wait for any news about Miles.
