16 - Invade

Katelyn.

I am staying here at the mansion of Lucas now. Wala siyang tinanong after we kissed, or shall I say had sex, or make love with him. I feel sore, and tired because we did it in his car. I cannot feel any shyness today because I feel empowered by what I dreamed of. If this man is really related tome, then I should investigate his home.

I hated the sight of myself in my dreams, I feel weak, and I am so sad. I am not sure why I am like that, but I know I'll it in the long run.

I already texted Liza about my whereabouts so she doesn't have to worry about me. I'll make sure to let her know what will happen to me and Lucas if I have proof to show her.

I was looking at the handsome back of Lucas as he is walking with me at the entrance of his home.

"Make sure to never receive any visitors, or calls tonight." I saw the helper of Lucas again after coming to the house for the second time. I forgot her name. We have been welcomed by Sir Benjamin earlier by his gate, and Lucas instructed the same thing too.

Tumango ito sakaniya, "Please bring us something to eat for dinner."

I felt him turned to me, "Would you like anything specific, Kate?"

I shook my head. I cannot feel anything after what happened. Maybe I just want to rest beside him.

"Just bring us a meal. Thank you." She smiled, and nodded at us, and I gave her a smile as well before she went to the kitchen.

His house was very quiet just like the first time I was here. I really want to ask question where is his daughter Kath, because I feel that he is just now making excuses to so we can be alone together. What do you know, Lucas?

"Are you tired? Would you like me to carry you?"

My eyes widened at his question. "No need. I can walk." He looked at me to make sure if I was telling the truth. Why don't you, tell the truth to me, my Love?

He intertwined our hands. This electrifying feeling since earlier is what brings me back to my vulnerable emotions. I feel weak when he touches me, but I feel strong at the same time. That can exist I guess, because I feel it right now.

"Bring me to your room." He stopped while we are walking up to his stairs, and he looked at me again with full of questions.

I can see him confused, maybe he was thinking why I am so confident with what I request to him. "Why?" I asked so we can have a conversation. He was so silent the whole time, but I was surrounded by his stares, and body language.

"Nothing, we'll go there."

I almost let out a disappointed sigh, because he really don't want to talk.

"I informed Jen that you don't need to report for work in the next weeks. You will be staying here with me."

I expected that this will happen, kasi nga sa nangyari kanina. Kung may alam nga siya sa akin, for sure he will hold me like this.

"No problem, I'll inform Liza about this as well." I already informed her, but I don't know how to tell her that I will not be around for quite some time.

"I prepared a bath for you, and I fixed your sleepwear."

Kanina pa nga siya busy sa pagaayos dahil nga dito ako matutulog. His room feels very familiar din, and mabuti nga hindi na sumakit ang ulo ko sa mga nakita. I'll check in with my doctor to know what is going on with my brain, and to consult about this. Of course, Liza deserves to know this too.

"Thank you, would you like to join me?"

I guess he was shocked because he walked towards me, and is now seated on his bed. "Aren't you tired?"

I nodded. totoo naman. "Hindi ba, shower lang?"

He looks more confused. "Are you sure you did not have a boyfriend?"

Now, I am more shocked. Pinigilan ko ang pagnganga ko sa sinabi nitong lalaki na ito. Why is he thinking about this, eh I already told him before I was not involving myself in any relationship.

I forced a laugh, "Why?"

"You did not answer my question."

We were so close so I gave him a soft kiss on his lips, and then I smiled. I saw his jaw tightened, then I stood up and pulled him to shower.

"Chef! What is the reason of your absence sa inyong show?"

Nasa convention kami ng event nila Lucas. Isang get together ng mga Chefs, and mayayamang kliyente. Nandito nga rin si Ms. Jen.

"I can't believe it si Max ay narito rin sa event! Tapos kayo rin Chef! The event must be so lucky with your appearance!"

"Bakit magkasama kayo ni Andy, at idineny nyo ang mga issue between you two?"

Nasa gilid lang ako ni Lucas, and I was slightly smiling kasi hindi naman ako sanay sa crowd. Ilang araw na rin ang lumipas pero we did not have any other conversation kung hindi magspend ng time sa isa't isa. We spent our time making love, eating, and watching him cook. I went to his office yesterday but I cannot see anything about her daughter, and wife.

Hindi ko rin pinipilit dahil ayoko rin na maghinala siya nang sobra sobra sa akin. Gusto ko we are just like before but closer.

"Sino ang kasama niyo, Chef?"

"Bakit narito kayo sa event? Hindi ho namin inexpect ang pagdating niyo!"

Halu-halo ang emosyon ng mga reporters na nagtatanong. Kahit pa'y katabi ako ni Lucas, hindi pa rin mas'yado napupunta sa akin ang attention. Not that I want it. Sobrang curious siguro nila sa akin hindi ko na napigilan ang pag-iisip nang masama sa titig nila.

"I came as a date of Kate. My girlfriend." He smiled as he said those things! Sa gulat ko napatingin ako sakaniya. Hindi namin napagusapan ito, at ayoko naman ma ako ang maging katapusan ng career niya! Lalo lang niya akong nilapit sakaniya gamit ang braso nya sa aking bewang! He was really like this in the past few days.

Napansin ko ang mga bulungan nila, at mabilis namang bumaling sa akin ang mga reporters, at photographers. Hilaw akong ngumiti. "If you'll excuse us." Parang utos iyon na galing sakaniya, at agad na tumabi ang mga nasa harap namin para makadaan kami.

Naririnig ko pa ang mga reporters na gusto rin mag tanong sa akin, pero hindi ko na iyon nalingunan. I felt sorry hindi rin naman na gusto kong tanungin nila ako. "Hindi man lang ako nakapagsorry sakanila...bigla nalang tayong umalis."

Sumilip siya sa akin, "Entertaining them won't help you. Lalo ka lang nilang guguluhin."

"Pero, bakit mo sinabing girlfriend mo ako? Guguluhin talaga nila ako!" Bumungad sa amin ang mga iba pang bisita sa formal na event na ito. Nagulat ako dahil he give me a peck on my lips! Hindi ko siya masita dahil may mga napalingon sa amin. Napailing nalang ako.

Ngumiti lang siya sa mga bumabati sa amin, habang ako naman I greeted them by saying good evening.

Ms. Jen found us and slightly waved, agad kaming lumapit sakaniya. Sa mukha niya hindi man lang siya nagulat sa nakikita niya ngayon. Mas lalo pa nga ito ngumiti sa amin. I smiled too.

"You should find your table, and have you seen Liza? He's with Max! I never expect na magkakaroon ng mga sobrang sikat na tao sa event! Alam ko rin Mr. Lucas na magkakilala kayo?" Who's max? Then I suddenly remembered the guy he discussed with me! Sikat din pala iyon! Saan naman? Narinig ko rin siya sa mga reporters kanina! Kaya pala hindi ako hinanap ng kapatid ko dahil sa busy din siya? Imbes na si Lucas ang isipin ko pati siya ngayon, naiisip ko na rin.

Tumingin si Ms. Jen kay Lucas.

Tumango ito, "We've never seen them. I'll greet them later." Tipid na sagot ni Lucas. "Salamat Ms. Jen for everything! Didiretso na po kami, mukhang ang dami niyo pa pong aasikasuhin."

"Yes, yes! Sobrang dami pa. I need to go...See you again, later!" Ngumiti ako, at yumuko sandali at dumiretso na kami ni Lucas.

"You knew him! Why didn't you tell it to me?"

Tumingin lang ito na parang natatawa, "I am not sure why would I bring any other men to our conversation, Kate."

I rolled my eyes at him. I am distracted. I will look for Liza.
