If Diana could go back and tell her eleven-year-old self what she endured at Hogwarts, she would never believe her. Eleven-year-old Diana was so ignorant of the dangers at her feet when she walked through the doors to the wizarding school.

PAIN. GRIEF. SUFFERING. BETRAYAL. DEATH. MURDER. TORTURE. ANXIETY. PANIC.

HORCRUX. SNAKES. DEATH EATERS. VOLDEMORT.

She wished she could go back and prepare herself for the six years of suffering that were Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her first year at the school wasn't so bad. She made friends and got good grades. Sure they had encountered Voldemort for the first time, but they had thought they had destroyed him.

But then he kept coming back to haunt them.

The war started, and her loyalties were stretched thin. One of the hardest decisions was choosing between supporting her father and her friends. In the end, she knew that she had done both, and while things worked out, she knew that she had lost a part of herself that would likely never return.
