This story was inspired by Hardy's "Wait in the Truck", a song that resonated deeply with me. If you have been a long-time reader of my works, then you probably know I am a survivor. This story contains elements of my life, as well as my healing.
Writing is therapeutic and allows me to process what happened in my past in a healthy and constructive way. Angels Don't Do What He Did is a bit more of a raw glimpse into what abuse can look like. It also shows that there is light and healing at the end of the tunnel.
